And again, lift at jd gym coventry is out of service for 3 days now. How long it's take to repair lift. I have already made complaint about it. Im disabled and there is no other access to gym . Its disability discrimination.

In plain heatwaves, the air con is off. Even when it is on, you can't feel anything and the studio is the worst. There's apparently a restriction to the air con in the studio...

what if i tell you all my problems happened at this gym thanks for jd banning me best thing that ever happened to me in my lifetime since i left jd gyms back in 2024 August was my last day after jd i went to pure gym in binley Warwickshire shopping centre one nothing like jd gym don't get me wrong some of the best people were from jd gyms specially the guys who i still get along with some amazing people came out from thete the staff male were really good i still get along with them but that wasn't the problem the problem was the group of people i was with at jd gym which were females who I stuck around with thought they were my friends but also lied about me tbe group from jd gym was the worst ever group i had in my life since i stopped going to jd gym my life became amazing there was this woman from jd gym who got caught in a car park by her husband she said she was with me to her husband but i wasn't there is this another woman who always gossip about other people and causes a lot of shit between people in jd gym hardly trains i hated coming here specially in 2024 where people used me from this gym and when i got into trouble the group i was in in jd gym never came to help me jd gym is one the fakest gyms ever since i left jd gym ive been to 6 calisthenics competition got in better shape there was so many lies happening at jd gym when i used to train my head used to hurt because of my friend circle was soooop toxic ive been to 3 different gyms after jd gyms nothing is like jd gyms coventry the people in the kd gym have serious problems in there own life's which they brought to the gym to much gossip in this gym its the people who still gossip are still there ive even been to calisthenics the people there are 10 times better than jd gym Coventry ones so for 2 years i had the best time of my life here ive been stress free the problem all along was jd gym my life is sooo much better away from that group from jd gym never had a problem in my life away from jd gym im in soo much better shape than i was in jd gym in 2024 at this gym i met sooo many people that had problems really stupid people in fact think they were retards sorry to say it was really soon as i left thag fake pathetic circle i found better people than the people i hanged around in jd gym soo stupid circle i was in im glad im out of it my family can also see how toxic jd gym was full of liars and cheaters

Even in this intense heatwave the gym staff decide to turn off the AC before they leave. Very selfish as now that the gym is 24 hours they think as long as theyre not present AC does not need to be on.

Gym is meh, the company however needs to be avoided. Reinstating direct debit payments even if you cancel the account. Other gyms are much better.

Staff super rude.

Sauna is meant to close at 10 on weekdays and 8 on weekend. Decide to turn it off a hour early nearly daily and cleaner forces everyone out 15 minutes before closing.

Don’t listen to members at all.

JD Coventry gym is nothing like the ads. The showers are filthy, overcrowded, and the drains are blocked. There are no lockers available, and the gym floor is so packed that you can't find a single machine to use. To top it off, management completely ignores emails. Total waste of money. Avoid it!

Excellent staff , equipment and atmosphere. After having a terrible experience at The Wave , Coventry i feel JD , Coventry has not only boosted my physical health but also my state of mind. Absolutely love the place and couldn't be happier with my experience at JD. You're doing gym absolutely correctly. Big up JD Coventry don't ever change 💪❤️

The worst people I have ever met have come from this gym absolutely vile people my group was full of toxic people always used to get never used to train more of a gossip gym glad I'm not here no more if I was still here with some of the crowd from jd gym Coventry I would of been really depressed I hated this gym at when I was there I'm in a better place in my life this gym drained the HELL OUT OF ME

I've just renewed my membership and it was one of my best decision recently! To be honest, I was in shock at first time seeing the brand new equipments which are so efficient - at least for me - and a massive motivation to visit them every day alike!

I’ve been coming to JD Gym in Coventry for a good while and it’s definitely one of the favourite gyms I’ve used. The cleanliness is always top notch, the variety of equipment is great and the staff are always friendly and will go out of their way to help and support. I want to give a big shoutout to Joe in that respect, I’ve asked Joe a few different queries in my time whether it be general gym advice, about the temperature, and about different equipment, each time he has gone out of his way to answer/help, he’s a top guy and really embodies the JD values, he’s a real asset to the gym. Thanks Joe :)

I am leaving this review with reference to my recent interactions with the JD Gym Coventry manager , Joe. The chap has been exceptional, Every time I ask him something he can’t be more helpful or accommodating . Today I’ve enquired about a climbing rope , which hasn’t been hung up for a while , and from the start of the conversation to the rope being hung up and used was less than 30 minutes. No excuses or lengthy delays Joe just delivered what was needed for a member of his gym, which is Outstanding considering it’s a busy Saturday morning and he will undoubtably have a list of tasks and duties to perform just keeping the gym functioning smoothly. Joe not only offers brilliant service to the customers at JD he is diligent and conscientious with the way the gym looks and I often witness Joe and all the other staff doing the rounds cleaning and putting weights and equipment back in its proper place .The staff are all friendly and positive which makes the general atmosphere in the gym one that is upbeat and motivating.
I have been a regular user of JD Gym now since it opened and Joe is by far one of the best gym managers I’ve seen not only in JD but in any gym I’ve used . Two weeks ago in the heat wave he was instrumental in keeping the gym comfortable with the A/C and temperature control which was absolutely blessing.
Joe is clearly conscientious about his gym and the gym users. Brilliant attitude to have.

I’ve been back two months and I am benching 20kg more than what I was for 3 years at the village

I use to work here as a cleaner 7 years ago and I can say it’s 100% better than it was and I will say the manager is as good as Steve back then

It's ok for a first gym. But the staff are awful and plain rude in my experience as well as what I've heard from others. The changing rooms are so dirty and the floor is black from dirt. Toilets are almost always a mess and get worse as the day goes on. Again, the staff are horrible, incredibly rude and weights are left anywhere. As a member of 2 years I've always put my weights away, on the off the chance I forgot I was shouted at and chased by the staff. I only left the weights because my father was in a car accident and I was in a rush. Horrible staff. Horrible gym. I seriously recommend all those considering this gym to not go to it. Leave and go elsewhere.

The gym at Coventry is subpar. Lockers are provided but a lot of people are too lazy to use lockers so trying to find an empty locker is like playing deal or no deal with sweaty clothes. Not enough equipment to cover peak times. Groups of broccoli haired kids will hog spaces and "reserve" spots while not actually using them. There will be times where it suddenly turns into an influencer studio with cameras out and tripods and ring lights everywhere so you can't work out without someone posting it on social media. Off peak is fine but this is definitely a poser gym that could do with improvements

I’m writing to express a concern that I hope can be taken seriously. I've noticed that when members raise issues or complaints, the staff response often feels more focused on defending one another than actually listening and addressing the concern with care.

Recently, I witnessed a situation where a newer, younger staff member was quite rude in their interaction with someone at the gym. From what I saw, the way it was handled lacked professionalism and empathy. It’s disappointing to see that instead of reflecting on these moments, there seems to be a tendency to brush things off or avoid accountability.

I really value the space and community at the gym, and I’m sharing this in the hope that it encourages a more open and respectful environment where both members and staff feel heard and supported.

Fabulous staff , clean and tidy , gets very busy in the evening but there is ample equipment to be getting on with what you need to do .
