Plenty machines and space staff very helpful

Quite an average gym apart from cheap cardio equipment and some weight equipment outdated, ignoring of messages on messenger, no intention of upgrading dumbells and no reason why so just ignore you same as PureGym 🥱, more phones lifted than weights but that's most gyms these days, feel a tad overpriced also £14.99 is more reasonable for a core membership, overall it's an ok gym

Staff member called David showed us round our first day, he helped me at the entrance as I couldn’t get my barcode to work. I couldn’t believe how big it was and clean.

I didn’t fell awkward at all - as I thought I would as I am 60 yrs old. Everyone just does their own thing and concentrating on their own goals.

The choice of equipment is great and gives you instructions how to use.

I know this has only been my first week of going but I am enjoying the experience.

Staff have all been very helpful.

Big gym well laid out. Plenty of kit. Looks fresh. Clean locker rooms. Great value. No contract.

Very nice and clean gym with lots of space and machines. Showers and locker areas always tidy and well maintained, however, the dim lighting does annoy me sometimes. Sometimes I find it like that little bit too dark and can we please turn the volume down on the music on my days. The beats be thumping and I get that it's to create a cool workout environment and keep you motivated but if I can hear it over my own music, then we have an issue. Just turn it down a little please.

it’s amazing, every machine has a clear example on how to use the machine. It’s always very exclusive and has a brilliant environment.

I joined to attend Zumba so I travelled from airdrie to Cumbernauld , waited for class and no one appeared . On checking I was told instructor was on holiday , they had tried to get a replacement but hadn’t managed . But hadn’t updated their diary , I had actually changed plans to go to this class so was not happy .

A variety of machines and free weights for all to use regardless of where they are with their training.

Having visited once recently I was pleasantly surprised to see there was an available disabled shower facility that was much easier to use personally as I struggle with hypermobility.

However there was issue with the door to the shower, it seems partially broken, meaning confidence of privacy is low. It locks, but not fully.

Also having that being the one door between myself and the female only gym, I would like it to be secure.

Additionally there seems to be a very lacking amount of clean down stations particularly in the upper “machine” section with the cardio devices.

One per that many machines doesn’t make it easy to consistently clean once finished with the equipment.

Great gym. All the equipment you need and never any hassle, can’t complain.

I overworked myself in a leg day and was not able to walk, employees of the gym in Cumbernauld made every effort to get me home safe, great humble staff that will always stop and help you if you have a problem, I highly recommend this gym over any other in the Cumbernauld area.

The gym area is huge, there is at least four times the equipment at my previous gym.
I am looking forward to proving my friends wrong that say the fitness classes are often cancelled at JD.
I used the gym for the first time yesterday which was great apart from the QR code on my app not being accepted by the entry scanner.

Only joined this week, but have been impressed so far. Great variety of equipment and classes if you wish to do them. Ross, only member of staff I have dealt with was friendly and helpful.
So far, so good 👍

Good gym. Lots of equipment. Clean. Nice temperature not too hot and not too cold. I like the fact there’s a ladies only area which is private and away from the main floor.

Only downside is trainers are not always visible and I had to learn to use the machines from other gym goers. Would be better if there was a reception so you could speak to someone as you walk in.

Staff member was so understanding and helpful. Really put me at ease. Nothing was too much bother, really appreciated it 🙂🙂

Your staff are really helpful and great at what they do and make the gym its self a better place to be as in other gyms if your a certain size it can be a daunting

Really easy to join up, app nice and simple to use and great choice of classes to join. Gym itself is brilliant friendly staff on hand for any questions and help needed. Very welcoming.

First time I've been to the gym since having my son. Sign up was easy and the gym has loads of different types of equipment and a ladies room.
