JD Gyms - Doncaster Opiniões 

Ok experience, but had problems with using my code to get in and out.

Kit is always broken, cleaning never happens, changing rooms locked from 12pm to 5am (more like 7am) in a 24 hour gym.

I have been a member of this GYM before but unfortunately it is local to me.
Fortunately I only want to do a bit of running and some cycling.
The GYM doesn’t appear to get much of a clean. The sanitation stations have been removed therefore you are usually following the previous person with their sweat all over the machine. Not everyone would use them but those of us with hygiene standards would.
There are rarely any staff to speak to or ask for advise and to be fair when I have I have felt like I’ve been brushed off.
Finally the amount of machines that either don’t work or are broken is ridiculous. I had to get on 3 spin bikes once before finding one that actually worked properly and a couple of running machines as the belts were slipping.

I liked the vast array of equipment and facilities. I just don't like the music genre. Its a bit too loud and overpowering. Plus I won't train in headphones or earpods.

I have just joined this gym and the amount and variety of exercise machines is brilliant. Staff are very helpful and quickly show you how to use something if you are not sure. Have now tried lots of different exercises.

Good machine although some need attention.. not much additional equipment for the cables, lack of grips and so on

But the reason for the 2 stars is the Changing rooms.. Absolutely disgusting, always stinks of wee and poo.. toilet seats been missing for over 5/6 months

I have now left and gone to another gym and it would take alot for me to go back and use JD GYM Doncaster

On my first day I’ve asked a an instructor if I can ask a question, I did not ask to help me, or show me something what required her personal time and she told me NO IM WITH MY CLIENT!
Really? Do you think I’m blind? I was feeling dizzy and I had no idea where to get more water. Next time just ask what person needs and transfer to another personal if you can’t help now. At least you can ask what’s happened

Lots of equipment good atmosphere only little down side was parking as the car park was busy

I recently joined due to my last gym going into administration. I love the fact it is local, 24 hours and spacious. Early in the morning it's not busy so I can complete my routine.
Only gave 4 stars as found out the hard way you can only come into the gym once a day. I asked the cleaner as coming in early the changing rooms are not open at 4.30am so I've always left my stuff in the car then gone out to come back in. Other than this, love it, clean, love showers and changing area.

Positives: Clean, nice and modern. Loads of cardio machines and always available.
Sauna is great.
Negatives: Weight machines are hardly free, people sit on these for ages doing nothing and looking at their phones.
There’s only 1 changing cubicle in the ladies which is ridiculous, women need privacy especially at certain times of month! When you walk into the changing room straight away people are on full view. Not very well thought out in my opinion.
Air con not felt it yet!
Yes there’s a few negatives but overall I still enjoy going.

Close to home and easy to access. Good range of equipment available and having access to the sauna is a bonus.👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Doncaster jd gym. What can I say about this place? It’s dirty, the men’s changing room is filthy the toilets are very dirty.
Air conditioning what a joke! Unless you’re stood directly beneath it you can’t feel it, I’m surprised no one has passed out due to how hot it gets. There is never any trainers about. If it wasn’t for the convenience of the location I would be moving to a different gym. As there are better, cleaner, cooler gyms about! I know it’s a cheap gym but come on I’m sure it makes enough money to provide good air condition and cleaners

I’m enjoying my experience so far. Let’s see how it goes.

It’s great to have early opening times from 05:00hrs so I can hit the gym before work.

Good equipment, nice staff.Not a gym fan really but the atmosphere is friendly

Easy to join and a great friendly gym with all the equipment you could wish for and plenty of space to use free weights etc and a good range of classes. I personally would like more dance type classes but overall I’m more than happy with the gym.

No disinfectant spray
So no problem apparently

Basically, this is the only gym I've been to that doesn't have available cleaning products. A member of staff might give the machines a wipe on occasion, but considering how much sweat can pour off an individual...

Oh, and the sauna is routinely water logged due to poor drainage

JD gym Doncaster isn't great.👎🏾 The male locker room smells very bad evrey night, unbearable can't breathe too hot. Lots of broken equipment. It's a beautiful gym, it's a shame that it's not invested in. And people don't respect it as it should!
