Gym was fine
Gym was fine. I used to train at the Huddersfield JD all of the time. What I will say is that a few of the machines have fallen into disarray, and there was a lot more random litter in the dumbbell area. Definitely not as clean as it once was.
The new treadmill was fine though.

the gym is clean with great bathrooms…
the gym is clean with great bathrooms and the studio is nice however the machines are a bit dated compared to other gyms, the ab crunch machine wasn’t working the other day and the ac is never on.

Nice space. Good variety of machines.
It's ok overall. Better than my local Gym group gym. If you go in early it's fairly quiet, especially on weekends. Some of the cable machines need a bit of tlc but other than that it's a nice space. Good variety of machines especially for leg days. There are different zones as well for free weights, machines, cardio, yoga, functional training etc.

Staff was very helpful as someone who has never set foot in a gym before I ask if I could have a look around before I joined which they happily did so on my first visit I didn’t feel overwhelmed after my second visit I booked a demonstration to show me how to use some of the machines and again staff was very helpful and made me feel welcome

My life would be better if they…
My life would be better if they refurbished this run down hole of a gym. Its dirty and always broken stuff. I train 5 days a week, 3 hours a day. If they would just put some money back into this place it would do the world of good.

Too many of the rubbish equipment
Too many of the rubbish equipment. Not enough of frequently used equipment. Gym is over subscribed leading to long wait times and queues. Toilets are always in poor condition and the showers stink. Equipment is forever broken and it's ages until it's repaired

Initial experience
The overall experience is fine, however i would be glad if you can add clothes hanging hooks in bathrooms as there are none and you have to use door to hang your clothes/towel.
