So far I love everything about JD Gyms
So far I love everything about JD Gyms. The environment is calm, clean and beautiful. I love that they have a private women’s gym and a sauna. I’ve been consistent and it’s been an amazing time there. The staff are also nice and always ready to help. Good job JD Gyms!😊❤️

It seems nobody is there to help, you ask about any info, nobody seems to know anything. I am struggling to find my way aroumd and I don't know if the classes are paid or not.

Cleaning is not good and people use their shoes while doing workout on mat sweating smell not place the weight back to their place.

AIR CON - SWEAT PIT
I've been a member of the Hull Gym for many years. I am so disappointed this summer. I am finding myself not training on my training days because of the lack of air con. this year been the worst year as its never worked properly in the last 5 yrs. The toilets are a disgrace. What am i actually paying for if I cant train!!"!!!!!!

My friend bought me 2 guest passes from…
My friend bought me 2 guest passes from the vending machine so me and my partner could try the gym before buying a membership. When we came to use them we were greeted with accusations and questions suggesting we stole the passes or made them ourselves. We were asked where we got them, who laminated them, why they had numbers on them etc. I explained the situation multiple times and advised a member of staff was with my friend when she bought them however, the staff member told us he really shouldn’t be letting us in and made us feel as though we shouldn’t be allowed in the gym. From the period of buying the passes to using them, it appears the passes have now gone online however, that the man who questioned us had no recollection of the passes every coming from the vending machine.

Customer service, gym cleanliness and function.

I got some amazing advice from the PTs about calories and how to calculate how much you need to grow muscle and how much water you need etc. The gym itself is clean and okay. Maybe a couple machines need maintinance, overall great gym!

busy, messy & hot!
The gym is like a walk in a sauna, air con is awful, weights everywhere, no members of staff in sight, the one entry per day is silly if you forget something in my car or want to do a double session which is normal splitting cardio and weights up you can’t get back in when the gyms unmanned! Wouldn’t recommend.

We’re sorry to hear your comments regarding weights being left around the gym. Members are asked to return equipment after use so the gym remains safe, tidy, and accessible for everyone. If you notice this happening during your visit, please do speak to a member of the team so they can assist.
Regarding access, the app does grant entry once per day, but members are welcome to return for a second visit or re-enter if needed. If you ever need assistance getting back in, please press the green buzzer near the entrance and a member of the team can help.

First week in currently been 4 times this week and I’ve purely enjoyed every single session, the staff are so kind and helpful and so are the other people who are training. The facility is amazing and the equipment is also great and definitely a wide variety for everyone, overall this has been the best week I’ve experienced at a gym I really feel at home here at JD
