The gym is great, but immediately on joining, classes are being cut at a rapid rate. This was the main reason for me joining, so I’m thoroughly disappointed.

I’ve always loved this gym and just rejoined after taking just over a year out due to cancer, it’s nice to see the continued progress of new machines and bikes etc and the new showers and lockers are... Ver mais

Decent for a budget gym
It's usually pretty busy, but I am able to use any equipment I need to without waiting very long, or find something else to do. It can get loud, so if you're noise-sensitive take headphones or earplugs. Generally clean and well maintained, and helpful staff.

Great location plenty of work out…
Great location plenty of work out equipment. The only down side is the closing time which is 22:00. I would love to see it open 24 hours as I am more like a night owl. I will attend for two months, but if closing time doesn't change, I will switch to a gym which is open 24/7.

Friendly suggestion
Hi guys , my 5 star review stays I. Place I’m very happy with the Mansfield location I would just recommend to fix the pavement in the little street that takes you in it because I just bursted one of my tyres getting out of it with the amount of sink holes in it !!

Easy as click, click, click!
Creating my membership was easy, few clicks and it was done. However, creating the motivation to go is not quite so easy, but lots of equipment and classes available. Also, they have vending machines!! Disappointed that there was not a double decker in sight! Back to my rice cakes! I will be bikini ready for the summer.

Joined up in January
Joined up in January. My daughter goes to the same gym so that’s why I chose JD Gyms. I went into the ladies only section which was nice, other ladies that were in the we’re friendly and helpful. However, there were some items of equipment that were out of use due to a hole in the ceiling. This meant there was limited amount of equipment to access. Having used a different gym with my physio, I didn’t find the equipment as easy to use or set up.

Unsafe car park
The car park doesn’t have adequate lighting, it’s very dark and quite unsafe for both drivers and non drivers. Additionally there are so many large pot holes, these could cause serious damage to cars. It would be also very easy to trip and fall because of the lack of lighting. This needs to be addressed ASAP before someone is serious hurt.

Felt really comfortable and like the fact it has a ladies only section especially when it's the first time I've been to a gym and lack confidence being around others
