JD Gyms - Southend Opiniões 

The environment and the equipment are very good, very big area.
I choose the gym because it is now open 24h.
The down side is the changing room close from 22.00 to 6.00, it is too restrictive for me

Had very good vibes as soon as I walked through the door. Staff very welcoming when I visited, showed me around all aspects of the gym. Spoke about the classes that were included in the membership. The gym is very clean and each time I have been so far I have seen the cleaner. She seems very conscientious about her job and it shows. I have been to a few classes so far and intend to try more when I feel my fitness has improved. Once I have had my induction and helped by a personal trainer, of which there a many you can choose from I shall be well away using the gym equipment, of which there are many. Straight after my visit I went home and applied online and returned that evening for a Pilates class.

In Rochford gym Essex, Great atmosphere and good gym for exercising and do super classes.. the staff is very helpful and very friendly..

Really great gym and reasonable pricing.
The induction was thorough and the staff member was super friendly and welcoming. There is a great range of classes, all of which can be adapted for injuries etc.
The gym has every machine you could need as well as a great range of free weights.
Add to that it has a separate ladies only area and you've got the whole package.

Extensive array of machines and equipment, fantastic hands on staff, amazing personal trainers and group sessions! Claire Livermore with SX Calisthenics is the champ!

I have just joined the JD Gym and have to say it is really impressive. So much equipment it is always possible to manage your workput even in the busy periods.

Really pleased with the classes but disappointed with the gym equipment, 1 of the Stair-master not working in the ladies section. It took five attempts to find a treadmill in the main gym as a lot of them had errors on them, so we're not working. Could not find any cleaning Items, yet there are signs up saying to clean things after you've used them. Feel the equipment should be checked regular to address any issues. Cleaning equipment should be made available like blue rolls, I did see hand sanitiser.

Also do not feel you should need a QR code to get out of the gym, should only be required to gain access in. I assume in an emergency this is disabled.

Overcrowded environment and you can only enter into the gym once once a day.
If you enter into the gym and you forgot your bottle of water in the car and you go and get it, you will not be able to come back in except you speak to a member of staff.
You have to wait for the equipment at least 5 to 10 minutes before you can start your workout.

A good selection of machines and lot of space to do my own thing too. I use thr one in Rochford, Southend On sea. The problem is it's over subscribed. I work full time so can only get there in the evening it's fully packed. Queue to use some machines. Also suggest more evening pilate/yoga classes please.

The staff are super friendly and helpful and it’s really nice to have the ladies only section. However it does get quite cold in there which increases the chances of pulling a muscle or developing an injury. Please turn the heating on!

…plenty of equipment for every gym user there; so no waiting about for ages.
I appreciated the dim lighting as it felt less exposed and intimidating.
The music is upbeat and modern.

Very helpful staff and having no contract is good. Plenty of exercise equipment to choose from.

Fantastic Gym!! The factities are amazing, never had to wait for any gym equipment and Jake the PT is brilliant would highly recommend him 👍
