Chris was fantastic from day one and couldn't fault him in anyway, had so many questions for him almost every day and he didn't once mind answering them, he made it stress free, and a expert in what he does, I will always use Chris in the future, for our remortgages, he got us a fantastic deal, and even once we have moved in he is only on the end of phone for any questions we may have going forward. Me and my partner decided we wanted to purchase our first home together in April 2024. We had no clue what our budget was or even where to begin! We went to multiple developers to find an area and style of house we wanted. Originally we were looking in Peterborough as close to works and we spoke with a mortgage advisor who wasn’t really helpful! And really didn’t put the time and effort in, and told us we couldn’t go above 200k for our first home. We nearly gave up, as we couldn’t find a home that we really loved! We then came across Ashberry homes in Bourne and we mentioned to the developer that our mortgage advisor said we can only go for a certain budget! She then recommended to speak to Chris at JMB for a second opinion. (It was free advise so we had nothing to loose) with it being a Sunday we left Chris a message and was surprised that he gave us a call back! Straight away Chris took all of our information and went through any outstanding debts that we had! Chris worked with us to minimise what he had accumulated to give us the best chance of getting a better offer! A week goes by and we was in a better position and Chris went in for an AIP. We got accepted for more then what we was expecting! Soon as we got accepted we put a reservation down at Ashberry homes! We was over the moon. Chris then submitted our mortgage application, however, was rejected for the littlest of reasons. But that didn’t stop Chris! Literally the next day he put in for another AIP for another lender and it was a lower interest rate! We got excepted for that and we went in for our mortgage application again! It took 3 days and on 18/06/2024 Chris called to say congratulations we have been accepted! I asked Chris not to tell me partner just yet as I wanted to do a surprise for him to tell him we been accepted. I can’t thank Chris enough! He’s helped us so much not only with our mortgage but getting us into a better place with our finances! Every time we have called/ texted even if it’s the weekend or late at night! Chris has always made time for us! We would 100% recommend Chris at JMB! And when we decide to re mortgage Chris will be the first person we would call! 20/10 service.

Clare did an amazing job with our mortgage application, our case was a bit complex but she didn’t gave up and found a solution to get our mortgage offer.
