I spoke to Matt before buying a 6 month old BMW X6 in Carbon Black and received sound advice regarding the various options available for my vehicle. I then told the dealership not to do any polishing work on the vehicle before I collected it.

After buying the car I visited Matt and received a very detailed explanation of treatments available and the associated costs. As I intend t keep this car for around 5 years, we agreed that the following products were the preferred option and he confirmed that a Single Stage Polish was all that the car required before application.
o ArtDeShine & year NGC+ Ceramic Coating to the body
o ArtDeShine Window+ Rain Repellant Glass Coating
o ArtDeShine Wheel+ Wheels and Calipers
o Fabrics and Overmats treated
o Leather Guard applied to all interior leather.
o PTF to sill tops and Satin PTF applied to internal touchscreen.

While waiting for the car to be detailed, and being a fussy bugga, I started to regret buying a Dark Blue/Black car as it looked dirty after any exposure to the lightest road dirt. However, after treatment road dirt hardly adheres to the paintwork and water simply beads and runs off all the bodywork and the glass, to the point that it avoids the use of wipers in light rain.
The cream leather interior is immaculate and the Satin PTF on the screen adds fingerprint protection and a touch of extra class. The PTF on the sill tops cannot be seen and is purely for protection against shoe scuffs.

Washing the car is now very easy and enjoyable by simply using a Pre-wash followed by Snow Foam with the lightest of wash-mitt agitation. The car then towel dries easily with a single wipe leaving an excellent shine.

I can definitely recommend anyone who is passionate about their cars appearance and protection to visit Matt and take his bespoke detailing advice. You will not be disappointed in the results achieved if you decide to use his expertise in preparing and applying these top-class products.

Had my Qashqai in with Matt at JMD Detailing to get the headlights restored, and I honestly can’t believe the finished result — they look brand new! The difference is night and day. It’s can only be 5 stars. I’ve known Matt for a good few years now and always seen the end results of his work which are always amazing. I’ve never had a car worthy of some proper time spent on it until now. I stayed the majority of the two days he spent on the new motor and saw what I thought was a good standard. How wrong was I. I was educated to say the least. The car was take from freshly prepared from the dealer to mat and stripped of all of the silicone and all the other shiny stuff that gets plastered on cars to make them look their best. Obviously with the oodles of tyre gary to match. The transformation was unbelievable my mind actually blown. I can’t recommend JMD enough a true professional of his craft. Before the car looked good but now it actually gets attention because of it newer than new looks. In short he’s not bad with a bucket and sponge this lad. A** thank you sir

Just had my car done here. From start to finish the level of communication was fantastic. Service is one of the best I've ever come across they really care about what they do. Matt was professional, friendly and talented at what he does. I now wouldn't go anywhere else, I'll be a returning customer and 💯 recommend others to use here. I'm over the moon with my car

Thank you Matt for the work carried out on my Macan Needed an enhancement package and ceramic coating. JMD went the extra mile to ensure the car was better after 3 days work than when it left the factory. Car has been washed a couple of washes since I had the work done and the result is stunning and easy to clean.

I would highly recommend Matt/JMD detailing.

He does a great job and is a really nice and helpful person.
