I have received a phone call appologising which was very much appreciated, still in early stages of the procedure, but looking better.

l am using JMR at the moment, so far not very impressed , I will update when the transaction is complete.

Once again, JMR have completed the job efficiently, with clear and concise instructions and in a timely manner. I only wish I had found them sooner, a good solid firm who deliver a very good service.

I have sold 2 properties and purchased 3 properties and these were by far the worst solicitors I have encountered, the reviews here don't lie. I just wish I had looked on trust pilot before going with them. I was referred by Moving direct and was in a hurry so I accepted their recommendation.

The main person I dealt with was Sahira. Practically impossible to get hold of by phone and does not respond to emails in anything approaching a timely manner. Often no responses at all.

I have a chronic health condition which was hugely exacerbated by the stress of dealing with this incompetent company.

Initially I was happy with the service and felt things were moving along well, I even emailed them to say this as I like people to know when they're doing well.
However it did not take long before their incompetence showed. The phone was rarely answered, sometimes I could not get hold of someone for several days. Email replies were also very slow if sent at all.

I had to raise two official complaints with the company, primarily due to poor communication.
They failed to respond to contact from our vendor's solicitors, or the estate agents and huge frustration was experienced by all the other parties involved. My estate agents and vendors solicitors were shocked by JMR's poor communication and unprofessional conduct.

Marium, the director of the company, called me at one point and (and I do not use this term lightly) gaslit me. She was rude, condescending, and was simultaneously telling me she had sent a very important email and had also not sent this very important email, whilst telling me I had no valid reason to be upset with their conduct.
After speaking to Marium, I could absolutely see why the company were such a disaster to deal with, if this was how the director behaved.

I have described below some of the specific issues, so others can see in detail the issues we were having.
The only reason I have not sued them for their absolute incompetence is sheer exhaustion. I am furious I allowed them to get away with such appalling service.

I am sure they will respond quoting how long it normally takes to complete and how quickly we actually DID complete, but I assure you this was down to the vendors solicitors, the amazing estate agents on both sides and was in spite of JMR, not BECAUSE of them.

Key issues below:
1. AWFUL communication. Email replies as long as 6 days after sending emails
2. 14th July 2022: the vendors solicitors had asked for the draft transfer several times already with no response from JMR. On this date I filed a complaint by email and by phone. THREE WEEKS LATER the draft transfer still has not been sent and there is still no replies to the vendors solicitors communications. I am receiving daily phone calls from the estate agents on both sides, asking me to get JMR to get in contact with the other solicitors.
3. 8th August: I have received no email response to my complaint from mid July, nor a phone call response, nor had there been any noticeable improvement in service
4. Conduct of solicitors: Quite frankly, when I did manage to speak to Sahira, I found her to be cold and unfriendly. She gave the distinct impression she did not care about the case (and this showed in how it was being handled) and made me feel as if I am bothering her by phoning and essentially asking her to do her job, since she did not appear to be doing it.
5. The vendors solicitors sent replies to enquiries on the 21st July. On the 27th July Sahira emailed me to say they had not received enquiries from the vendors solicitors. I do not understand what is going wrong at JMR that the documents you were being sent were not being properly logged/received/processed.
5. I sent an email explaining there had been a change and I needed to know what information you needed regarding money being gifted in order to complete the purchase. Still no response 8 days later.
6. On the day of completion, when we are in the driveway of the new house waiting to get access, I get told actually they got the figure wrong and actually needed another X amount of money to complete (I can't recall the figure now but it was something like £500).

We instructed JMR to act on our behalf as we had received good service previously. JMR didn't disappoint this time either!
They act on our instructions, offer clear advice and offer good value.
We would certainly recommend them to others and look to use their services again in the future.

So far so good, solicitors have been understanding professional and efficient

We needed help and advice for our workforce contracts and contacted a few Solicitors, most of whom didn't seem interested, even though there advertising said they specialised in this kind of work.

We contacted JMR and right from the start we felt comfortable with them. The lady who answered the phone was professional and we really felt she was keen to help us.

The contracts where completed in a matter of days and we felt fantastic value for money.

I would not hesitate in recommending them and will certainly contact them should we need their services.

I had my telephone consultation with them less than 48hrs after making my initial enquiry. The staff were very helpful and I received great advice.

So far so good, pleasant and polite, just awaiting a quote then on to the next steps

Great conveyancers. They were £400 less than the next quote and nearly £700 less than the estate agents recommended conveyancer.

They were patient while I sold a flat back home. Then more patient while I waited to hear what my payrise was going to be and update my mortgage offer.

They pushed things along but were again patient when the seller said they couldn't move out until their new place was renovated.

They included some money in the completion for some furniture left by the seller. They also got me out of paying towards a new boiler the seller had asked me for.

I viewed the house in January and completed in July. Lots of patience. Completion happened quickly in the end. I came back from a holiday, hired a van
filled it up, collected the keys and moved.

During a difficult moment in my life, JMR was very supportive and there for me. They listened and asked questions which gave me the confidence they were taking this situation seriously.

In addition, JMR handled my situation urgently and advised me based on the questions given.

I can trust and rely on JMR for any legal advice.
