The products may be fine, but the service is not.
I made an order to test out the products, and since they offer a subscription service I made sure I chose 'one time only' when ordering.
Despite this they created a subscription, shipped an order and charged me for it, all without even informing me!
When I notified them I had not consented to a subscription order, they immediately answered they would cancel it.
Later I found out they didn't do that and an order is still on the way.
I have disputed the charge with my credit card company as I did not authorize the charge to be made.
They did not offer to fix the problem they had created, but informed me I cannot return the product without being charged for the return!
This seems like a scam to me, so it does not matter how good the products are I am not going to buy from them again and I cannot recommend them to others.

I received a product that was leaking. I couldn't tell which one, so I needed to return everything.
I used the chronic illness discount, and lo and behold, it was a subscription that I wasn't able to cancel myself!
I had to jump through more hoops to have them cancel it.
I also had to pack my order, print a return label, and schedule a pickup.
I told Buoy I was sick and the smoke was bad here, but they didn't care. They insisted I return their damaged crap!!!

Disgusting all around. The only thing worse than the taste of the UNFLAVORED drops, is their terrible customer service. They literally went as far as to create a fake invoice to say that I only paid $66 when I literally have my bank statement that says I paid $104. They said they would refund the drops because I can’t use them because they taste terrible and they ruined every drink you put them in. They accidentally refunded the item I did like and now they’re gaslighting me trying to say that they refunded 50% of my order when in reality they did not. I’ve been going back-and-forth with them for weeks and they won’t address any of my questions they just keep giving me false claims and a fake invoice.

I attempted to cancel an order less than an hour after it was placed. The order showed as cancelled in Buoy’s system, yet it still shipped to an address I no longer live at—despite notifying customer service immediately.

Customer support acknowledged the cancellation but refused to issue a refund, instead placing responsibility on me for their internal shipping failure. Smiley-face responses throughout the process felt unprofessional given the situation.

Very disappointing experience and poor handling of a clear cancellation.

Bought a set of these. I like how they give discounts for those who have conditions that need excess electrolytes. However, they are still very expensive. The non-electrolyte ones don't work either.

Poor customer service

They are very upfront about the contents of their enhancers but I will say I was still skeptical. I have developed sudden onset nausea for no reason. Tried the Tums & Pepto versions for nausea without much success. Came across Buoy on an ad and thought so what…it is convenient to carry and use and the science sounds right so I ordered a starter assortment pak but mainly for the digestion drops. I fill a 46 oz Coldest bottle with ice, a moderate squirt of Buoy, then water and drink about 4 of those a day. I wasn’t expecting drastic changes but when I felt nausea coming on, I’d take a few sips of my ice water with the drops, and honestly my nausea always eases then subsides. I use the hydration drops in my workout bottle for Spinning Class. Love them and highly recommend the digestion drops (unless there’s a run on them and I can’t get mine. LOL)

As a swim coach and mother of competitive swimmers, hydration is always top of mind—but finding an electrolyte product that checks all the boxes has been a real challenge. The drops arrived quickly, well-packaged, and clearly handled with care. I’ve been using them daily and can honestly say I feel a difference. I can add them to anything, even plain water, and there’s no noticeable flavor change, which is a huge win. Even my picky kid will use them without complaint.

I also appreciate that they offer discounts for people with chronic illnesses and additional savings through their subscription option.
