I was born into this organization and have experienced anxiety and depression as well as PTSD from being raised within it. All of my friends experienced the same. It’s a harmful doomsday cult that entices vulnerable people in by giving them the false hope of living forever on paradise. I am fine if someone wants to believe this, but their hateful views on LGBTQIA+ people, their teaching that everyone you know who isn’t a witness will die in Armageddon, their standard of shunning once you leave or do something “wrong” and get disfellowshipped… these are actively doing HARM on real people. Thousands will never speak to their family members again because they have been slowly molded into this group and conditioned not to ask questions, look outward for any other information, and to disregard anything speaking negatively about them as “apostate material”. 0 stars.

Website that only selectively shows part of their publications with their inside members articles that openly advocate discrimination, misogyny and at time racism behind a protected pay wall. They will often publish misleading statements about their shunning and child abuse policies. Do your own research.

I know several people that took their life after they were expelled from the religion and were cut off all communication from friends and family. I also know people who were abused as children and that their abuse was covered up. A dangerous cult whose say they are a religion

I was a baptized member from birth to 32 years old. They practice and teach shunning and that it is really some how showing love. Extremely judgemental down to if your socks match your suit and if you miss one meeting as they call their services which are 2 days a week. If you don't meet the required hours(the hours each member thinks other members should be doing) knocking on doors and preaching they judge and look down on you. Yes they keep track of the hours you spend in preaching or you are harassed by an elder. They will convince you to refuse medical treatment on your own to remain faithful to god and also let your own children die if they require certain medical treatment. Their rules and standards will and have changed back and forth over the years claiming "new light from god" when it's the old information from years ago. Elders will disclose to the congregations names of individuals admitting to engaging in child molestation but will not report them to police and blame the victims. When women are questioned about premarital sex they sit in a room with 3 elders and are questioned heavily and in great detail about the experience. Men are questioned on whether it happened or not and that is as far as it goes. Women are treated as second to men. They have rewritten the bible to fit their own beliefs. This is a cult to the exact definition.

Firstly, this is a business pretending to be a religion. Secondly, what they peddle is laughably misleading. Laughable if not for the harm it causes, and definitely manipulative. Notice their articles and quotes with the tricky 3-dots (...). They tend to take things out of context and misquote most references.

I have personally confirmed many instances of misquoted and improper context.

Ich finde, man sollte sich damit beschäftigen und sich selbst ein Bild machen, ich bin eher eine kritische Person gewesen, durch die Jahre hat es immer mehr Klick gemacht und ich habe Dinge erlebt, die wirklich ein Wunder sind..den nächsten Schritt habe ich gewagt und würde es immer wieder tun! ,,Wer Gott in seinem Leben an die erste Stelle stellt, wird alles andere noch dazu bekommen‘‘ ein Zitat aus der Bibel und es stimmt.
Es gibt kein Muss und keinen Zwang, es ist uns überlassen welchen Weg wir gehen wollen und Gott ist unser Wegweiser ! :)

I want to make this constructive not destructive they will do this on their own. A change from Jehovah's Witnesses to JW.ORG is just a brand name the old one was not working anymore probably. So, my involvement with them was as a child 0-15yrs. Up to 10yrs life was hard but ok, but as soon as you can sit at their church (say 4yrs) your made to sit on a chair and expected you follow the meeting no pen or paper to draw and that was the Jewish Way (eh!). Obviously calling on doors you hoped not to call at a friends house it just made them ask questions at school. For 4yrs we had to sit outside the assembly hall for all to see though the gym doors because we could not go into assembly. 4yrs eh it was belittling and we are doing it for Jehovah. But worse than that was to happen. I loved football and so did many kids at junior school. I was Captain and center forward to. So, I was 10yrs old and one Thursday night meeting it was announced that no more after school activities could be done. I remember that moment well even now. Never would I forgive my dad for taking the one thing I loved away. So, after that I decided I would be a rebel. I had 5 years left then I could leave.
Witnesses believe in the end of the world. At 9yrs old in 1975 the whole JW organization believed the great tribulation was coming. People sold houses cars etc. It never came. You will find they will always say its here when a new war appears, just like the Ukrainian conflict of 2022. Phrases like won’t be long, where in the final days now, are phrases that’s been used for years. They don’t allow Followers to go to university they don’t want followers to be able to think or argue a point. They prefer their flock to be window cleaners, gardeners etc.
In 2021 2 elders interrogated my dad aged 81 about a kiss and cuddle when he was 17. No sex but the elders must have loved it, (SLB). There is a dangerous point here. They have to make a big deal because they have 1200 files (well documented online) pseudofile and wrongful sexual activity in the UK church. They believe God will punish these people at Armageddon, but the problem is that they could be active now. Do they lie YES if its in the interest of God.
JW’s love vulnerable people. In fact, they prey on them. At their meeting they have theocratic ministry schools where every week they are taught how to convert someone and there is a time scale for them to go by. On the platform its always women and women doing a demonstration, woman cannot give talks, I felt it’s a male chauvinistic religion and woman only have a second place. Their religion is a miss mash and a lot of the Jewish religion used.
How can anybody take them seriously if Bethel give commands bit their not responsible for them. Lovers of money and stumbling others you got the 7 top men wearing expensive suits and they are property developers in London for expensive housing using IBS.
Nowadays I don’t bother with them at all. Give them a bible they will beat you, ask for common sense and they have none. They seem to be classes as the most dangerous religion in the world.

Totally unlovable. The Bible explicitly says what one should do when "getting" ie. people who have a hard time face challenges and move away from the congregation. But JV only thinks about themselves and those who think they are right in everything. Even if you have challenges and fight against them, they should show that they persevere in trials etc. but JV does not do this. They rub their hands so they don't have to make love again. Because without this, they can drink one more bottle of red wine in their big villas.

what really interest me most is their cartoon videos for children, good moral and upbringing. get those videos for your kids. you'll learn a lot from this website. free bible reading and they have a clear answers to some religious questions
