I have been using JWed for many years…
I have been using JWed for many years as a tool to find my match. They attract a wide rang of members giving many possible matches. JWed also has grown with the times and has added new features to make searching user friendly. They also have added the option for guidance to their singles from professionals. They share stories of success that are inspiring for those of us who are still searching. All in all JWed is a useful website / app to helping singles meet!

No Communication
I used to get lists of those who viewed my profile. No I get nothing. I have received zero matches and zero activities of my likes. I sent a complaint and support services sent a form email that they would address the issue as soon as they can. I have received no help. I feel like I'm being scammed.

Compared to other sites
Compared to other sites, my experience on Jwed has been great. I feel better knowing that the staff has actually looked at and approved the members, and I have spoken to some interesting people from a variety of places in the world. Not enough Jewish divorced men 50-60 but there never seems to be 🤣

As most know is especially challenging being single, Jewish and being in your later thirties and older. Nevertheless over the years I have had a number of good dates through JWed.

Thanks Chava for kind reference. To be clear 75% of all JWed's 4,600+ marriages - have been marriages where it was the female JWed members made the first move - in contacting the male member:)
Non-existent Customer Service!
The free account is indeed free but messaging is impossible with it. So I upgraded to paid membership ("Standard") and contacted several potential matches but they either didn't receive my messages or they did but were unable to read them or reply [impossible to know] - unless they upgraded to Standard as well. In order to remedy this, I myself would need to further upgrade to "Plus" (at an extra charge, of course).
It's a silly, complicated system - and the worst part was [and is!] that JWed's customer service is NONEXISTENT. Their phone number is unattended - there is just a voice message requesting to e-mail them with any questions. I e-mailed them 6 (six) times and got no reply. What a bunch of lazy, unprofessional dorks.

You are correct - there have been unacceptable delays in our response times - and for this we apologize.
To this extent, JWed is launching in January 2023 its new 12hr Customer Service Guaranteed Response. We have expanded our customer service team and introduced additional avenues to reach our team directly.
As regards the payment model - it is the same model JWed has had for 22 years and in that time over 3,600 have met and married. Do all agree with it? No. we can never please everyone. That said, we can understand your frustration.
For this - but as well as for many other reasons, JWed is also launching its new subscription model within the next 2 weeks. Simply speaking, JWed will moving forward only be a premium paid-for-service with a much simpler subscription model enabling communication with every type of member.
Amongst other benefits for our active members, this will only increase the quality of membership and the level of engagement amongst members.
Once again, we appreciate your feedback and hope the weeks and months ahead will prove our continued commitment to optimize the dating experience of our members - and make it as short-lived as possible :)

We appreciate your feedback and are naturally concerned by your seeming negative experience. We will ensure you are contacted if we can find your profile.
That said, while errors can be made in subscription - we do not deny that our Terms and Conditions, we are clearly conveyed to a member - include that members can entirely manage their own subscription at any time and there are generally no refunds.
Why is this? Because dating services can be sometimes abused by members. What do I mean? Example - David signs up, does a search and likes profile of Sharon. He upgrades to contact Sharon. Sharon replies "thanks but no thanks." David contacts Customer Service and asks for refund giving some excuse.
Additionally, unlike most other dating sites - we enable any member at any time to cancel/manage their membership. No phone calls or emails necessary. Simply login to account and manage.
That said, of course we look at the big picture and a members history and usage. Is not a blanket policy.

Inherits too many bad features from other dating apps
I'm going to review using this account because I'm using this to review all dating/hookup sites, and unfortunately that's what JWed has degraded to.
When I started using it, it actually came across as a decent site to meet Orthodox/observant Jews.
Their pricing model is terrible though just like other sites - they let you create a profile for free and then you find you can't actually do much but you see profiles you want to contact so you pay the standard fee and you can then send messages to them, but as they haven't paid, they can't reply.
So essentially you're paying money to send messages to people who won't respond to them. So they want you to take out an even higher membership.
No doubt you'll get "hit upon" by interested women in the USA miles away.
They used to have forums with many men complaining about the same thing - women never reply to their messages.
Any dating site that tells you who has viewed your profile needs to know that's a very bad policy. Viewing someone's profile does not mean you want to meet them - wait until the person has viewed the profile and shown an interest to let you know - so nobody needs to be told.
Worst of all, the started bringing in "swiping". I mean, really??? Keep that kind of thing for goyish sites, you're supposed to find your match by compatible hashgafa and life interests, not "pretty face" which is often simply a matter of "photoshopping" ones main profile picture.
It gets 2 stars rather than 1 because I did actually get to meet 3 people from the site. Of course, all those people were interested in whether I'd marry them - oh well it is called "J-Wed". So just trying to meet people to date who keep Shabbat and kosher is not something useful really.
The one I met who was pretty, where we got on well before we met and not that badly during the meet itself, and then decided to start "ghosting" me shows the kind of mentality of the women who use the site though.

Nothing could be further from the truth, every profile is personally screened for authenticity. JWed rejects far more profiles that are approved every day. We have very strict criteria and we monitor all usage with propriety technology. We are very proactive and suspended any profile where it is shown user is not sincere or not authentic.

Yes, that is true and we are proud of that. JWed enables sincere and marriage-minded Jewish singles from the smallest of towns and largest of cities to meet and marry.
Over 65% of all JWed's 3,600+ marriages have been between people out-of-state or even country. When you are looking for someone based on character, personality features, Jewish outlook, shared values, interests and life goals.....and they are x miles away...if you are sincere - you will meet.

That is setting that any member can turn on/off at any time. Entirely controlled by member.
