Be very cautious
We rented an Audi A3 from Karruka Rent a Car at Tirana Airport for 10 days, including full insurance and an additional driver. Upon arrival, however, we were given a blue Toyota Urban Cruiser with 275,000 km on the clock and a body full of scratches and dents. While driving on the highway, the rear bumper nearly blew off, forcing us to stop at a gas station. The attendant there told us it was too dangerous to continue driving like that; he was kind enough to cycle off and get three zip ties to secure the bumper. Later, when it started to rain and we turned on the wipers, we discovered that the rubber blades were missing, rendering them effectively useless. The windshield washer fluid was also empty—hardly ideal when touring Albania. We complained when returning the car, but nothing was done about it. We will never use this Karruka rent a car again and advise others to be very cautious.
