Initially this was a very attractive way of financing things that traditionally don't offer financing or leases. I was approved for $3200. Initially I leased smaller items to test the water with thier payment system. After spending about $750 testing it and seeing how the payment options worked out I paid off what I borrowed then made a higher amount purchase/lease of around $1500. I paid everything off and then tried to lease something else only to be told I was denied. I contacted Katapult who explained thier underwriters used an AI to determine eligibility and offers are subject to change at anytime. I asked what would be flagging me since I paid off everything I borrowed. Was never late. And was just recently in the past 3 months approved by them for 3200 in total for leases/purchasing. Thr only explanation I could get was they would review it but all determinations by their AI are final and there is no way to override it. Really sucks.

First time using Katapult. I wasnt sure what to expect but this was a great experience! It was super easy to apply, be approved and get my lease on the item I was wanting to purchase. I was amazed at how much I was approved for and the whole thing took minutes.
