Terrible Fulfillment Turnaround

As a first time customer I did browse reviews and saw the shipping time can be long but a sale caught my eye and I placed a large order to qualify for free shipping. It's now 24 days later and I still don't have my order. This is atrocious for a modern day retailer. As someone who worked in e-commerce for years including vendor fulfillment, I cannot understand how they are still in business. Their Help section reads like a wildly defensive draconian manifesto as do their responses to BBB compliants. I gave 2 stars because hopefully the clothes will be cute and high quality. I'm so glad I told my family member to not bother purchasing anything else for our son.

I used to love this company until now

I used to love this company until now. I spent almost $800 on their site since my baby was born, two years ago, and at first they had good prices. Now the prices are super high. I tried to use the $25 credit I had from all the purchases I had made, and I could not find anything worth the high prices in September, and then, because I had "activated" the credit, it expired within 30 days and the company will not even respond to two inquiries I have made, so I will not get my $25 credit. Previously, the customer service also wasn't nice when I placed an order and I wanted to change it within the hour. I could have had free shipping with one more item, and they would not let me ADD an item to the order. Pretty lame!!! I think that in 2023 they were still generous and great and attracting customers, and now they have become much more greedy.

Still waiting after 5 months.

Wow, while the clothes offered on this store are really cute, the customer service is lousy I ordered and paid for an assortment of clothes for my grandchild in JUNE and they have yet to arrive. When I have emailed to ask what is going on, I get apologies but by the time I get these--if ever--the sizes might not fit. Come on: it is November and these were ordered in June. I would be cautious about ordering from them, especially if it is labeled "pre-order" or will ship later.

The return process is costly

The return process is fine but will cost you. I sent back $55 worth of clothes and got a gift receipt for $37. My 1.5 year old child wears 4T in this brand when she wears 2T in most other brands- hence the need for returns & the sizing table is off. The zippers are poor quality and the snaps are too tough for middle of the night changes (back when she was 6mo).

Terrible business

Terrible business. Ordered March 10th and still have nothing. I have emailed them numerous times asking to cancel my order. They can't do that. Asked for a refund. Oh they can't do that. And now they don't expect to get merchandise until around July 20th. They don't give you any idea as to a shipping date. Ponsi scheme.

Absolutely terrible online retailer

Absolutely terrible online retailer. Impossible to contact company by phone. Emailing only results in vague responses that say shipping takes 1-12 days, sometimes longer. I placed an order for SALE merchandise over a month ago, and it still shows unfulfilled although my debit card was charged immediately. I had to initiate a charge back with my bank. Buyer beware!!!!

Slow Shipping

Placed my order on February 10th and still have not received my order. A shipping label was created weeks ago. I have emailed a few times and get this response.

Our current fulfillment times are 1-12 business days. Orders placed during high volume sales, discounts, and promotions may take a few additional days to fulfill. This includes USPS priority orders. Once your order is shipped, we will send you your tracking information via e-mail.

It has been 16 days since I placed an…

It has been 16 days since I placed an order and I have emailed them a few times, since they don’t have a phone number in which to speak with someone, and they say orders take 1-12 business days, it has been 11 so far . Today they said they still don’t know when it will be mailed out. The last time I ordered something it also was in the mail for 8 days. I will not be ordering from this company ever again.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service! Same experience as others. Present ordered for Christmas on 12/17. Canned email response quotes 1-12 days to ship. 12/27- still not shipped. Will never buy from this company again & will discourage others as well.

Unacceptable business practice

Ordered 12/1 for Christmas. Still waiting more than 2 weeks later. They only process on “business days” even during holiday time so now it’s Saturday and my order still hasn’t even been processed. Once that happens I’d still need to wait for the shipping time. Items will not arrive in time to send as a gift or likely not even in time for Christmas at this rate. I have contacted customer service numerous times and explained I need to mail this myself as a gift and all you get is “sorry”. Totally unacceptable business practice!

cute clothes but awful customer service

Took almost a month to receive my order, then 3 days later everything I ordered was now marked half off. I reached out to ask for a credit/price adjustment and was told they only do the adjustment from date of purchase. I purchase most of my child's clothes from online boutiques and retailers, this is the only business that is subpar in shipping times. I unfollowed all socials and unsubscribed from marketing, completely done with this company and their poor customer service.

Worst customer service - do not order here

I placed an order that did not send for three weeks. When I saw the order had not even been fulfilled after three weeks, I asked to cancel the order. Kate Quinn refuses the request and was told I can just return it once I receive it. Several days later, I got an email saying the order shipped. I requested the tracking number and was not provided one. The next day, I received notice that one of my items was not available and was refunded. This means, they lied about shipping the order and they refused to offer a refund when they didn’t even have all the merchandise in my order in the first place. About a week after all of this happened, my order was set to be delivered. I NEVER RECEIVED IT. I emailed Kate Quinn again and they told me to file a claim with USPS. Any other company would just refund me for the small order and be done with it. The customer service at this company is laughable. I will never order from them again and urge others to not purchase from the company.

My favorite baby brand

This is the most beautiful, unique baby brand in the market, especially for boys!

The main gripe is the shipping/processing time and yeah it takes a few weeks but it's worth the wait to me!!!! Just plan ahead for a month and if it arrives sooner then great. Everything is even more beautiful in person than on the site, high quality, and again so unique

Clothing is pretty but taking almost 4…

Clothing is pretty but taking almost 4 weeks to process an order is ridiculous, especially since my credit card was charged on the initial order day. Will not be ordering again as the arrival date is so unreliable, esp around the holidays. Very unfortunate!

This company is not run well

The clothes are so beautiful, which makes it all the worse that this company is SO poorly run. The cult of loyalists must be what keeps the company afloat because their business practices are unbelievably subpar compared to those of competitors like Monica + Andy, Jamie Kay, Primary, Burt’s Bees Baby, etc.

Processing times truly boggle the mind. Minimum 3 weeks to receive an order, and has often been 4+. Instead of continually releasing new collections and desperately clinging to the forward momentum they create, this team needs to get a handle on processing and shipping. Hire. Some. More. Employees. Or hire a businessperson to get things organized and professionalized.

Continually changing manufacturers leads to unpredictable results on certain collections- colors in one collection (infamous litho bee) bled all over each other when washed (on cold & delicate, with gentle baby detergent) and when customers raised alarm bells, the company did nothing to compensate everyone for the horribly defective clothes.

Lastly, one more gigantic red flag is that there are no true returns offered. What a distinct sign that they don’t stand behind their products- the customer pays return shipping AND they only receive store credit. Congratulations, return your item and receive just enough store credit to pay shipping on a new order you’ll receive in two months.

Absolutely horrible customer service

Absolutely horrible customer service. No where on the website does it state orders take 10-15 days to PROCESS plus shipping time. I ordered yesterday 5/4 and messaged today about having the order here for 5/17 the night before our trip. I received a text message back over 3 hours later stating the order takes 10-15 days to process plus shipping. I asked to cancel since this is not shared to the customer online and they declined. Looks like a chargeback is warranted. Not informing customers of your processing policies is unacceptable. I took screen shots of the current website for my credit card company. I did ask multiple times for this exception given the lack of communication to the customer. Very sad this is seen as appropriate business ethics.
