I needed to become a lead vocalist
I ended up in a situation where our band did not have a lead singer. I always handled backup harmonies, but never was a lead vocalist. I knew I needed help, but at 66 years old, I had my doubts about what I could do.
I have been using Ken's course for about 14 months. It took me 3 months to just start sounding somewhat stable. At one year, I decided to launch a tribute act. I never thought this would be possible. My top end smoothed out and i added a valuable two notes to my bottom register.
It is funny. I spent two years as a young man studying voice with supposedly good teachers. They had no answer for adding lower notes. With Ken's approach and daily vocal workouts, I now have it. Don't be fooled into thinking this is a gimmick; it is not! Also, don't be fooled into being casual about it; it takes real work! There have been days that I don't want to do my vocal work, just like I don't want to go to the gym. The only answer is to follow the program and do it consistently.
This was the best money that I have spent on my music. As my hands start to fail from arthritis, I can continue with singing and be proud of my performance.
But the very inexpensive package and do the work! It is worth it!
