Soldi addebitati sulla cc ingiustamente

A causa di Kindle ho chiuso il mio account Amazon. Ho ordinato per SBAGLIO un libro su Kindle mentre volevo la versione cartacea, a quel punto visto l' errore, dovuto alla poca chiarezza di Amazon, che ha messo i due pulsanti di selezione per Kindle e versione cartacea del libro estremamente vicini, ho provato a scaricare l' app Kindle, ma anche una volta scaricato l'app il libro virtuale non è mai stato inviato alla libreria di Kindle, a quel punto ho richiesto il reso. Hanno comunque effettuato l' addebito sulla cc e il reso non mi è stato effettuato, quindi l' importo è stato trattenuto senza che io abbia mai nemmeno visto l' ombra del testo acquistato.

I love this app

I love this app. For £7.99 pm I get access to so many books, which if paid for individually would cost me the price of the monthly subscription after 2 books.
I use my phone for this app, and kindle offers a wide range of free books to people who only have access to kindle.

Kindleunlimited offers so, so many more books! There are still a few that cannot be downloaded, but 80%, if not more, of the books on the app can be accessed with this subscription.

I read on average, around 4 books per week. This app gives me so much choice and opportunity in terms of genres and style, it is impossible to NOT find something you want to read. And the options get updated regularly.

People who complain about reading the first in a series free, then having to pay for the rest have no reason for complaint. You are told if the book is a series, and can look at it and research before investing your time.

For such a small price per month, it is definitely worth it and I would highly recommend this opportunity to access such a variety of books.

Das letzte Update ist eine Frechheit

Das letzte Update ist reiner Schrott: jetzt kann man nicht mal mehr über die App eBooks kaufen sondern muss den Kauf über den Amazon Markt abwickeln. Es ist umständlich, die Werbung nervt und es ist Zeitraubend, keine gleichwertige Alternative, ein echter Rückschritt, von einem Milliardensschweren Unternehmen das täglich ka wieviel Geld umsetzt kann man sich schon einen ordentlichen Service erwarten,
1 Stern noch zu viel für diese Frechheit, dafür darf man jetzt mehr für Kindle Unlimited zahlen... DAS ist eine Frechheit... echt ekelhaft

Amazon should provide comprehensive…

Amazon should provide comprehensive training to all their customer service team for the products they sell. Some are very good and others make the experience terrible. It saves both the company time and speeds up the process and the customers are happy.

Kindle Unlimited - debit order complaint

I cancelled my Kindle Unlimited membership, yet my bank account was still debited. I then deregistered my Kindle Fire device, hoping this would stop the debit order. However, I continue to have the debit order taken off by bank account. I'm totally frustrated and would not recommend using Kindle Unlimited.

Das Kindl war bis zum Ende des Jahres…

Das Kindl war bis zum Ende des Jahres 2021 ein tolles Gerät.
Nachdem 2022 irgendwelche schlauen IT- ler ständig irgendwelche neuen Updates raufbringen, stürzt mein Kindl laufend ab. Weiterhin ist der gesamte Übersichtsaufbau nicht mehr vorhanden und auch die bereits gelesenen Bücher werden einem nicht mehr angezeigt, da man diese ja zurück geben muss und man sich ja nicht alle Bücher im Kopf hat.

Puhre abzocke! 9,99€ monatlich zahlen um Test lesen zu machen.. dann hole ich mir doch glatt lieber was beim ekligen Burger King und hole mir ein richtiges Buch zum lesen..

The Kindle device is fine but unlimited subscription…

The Kindle device is fine. My complaint is subscription to kindle unlimited. You get 3 months free to begin with. Tried it and didn’t get much out of it so cancelled. However, they gave me another free 3 months. Tried it further and still didn’t find it that useful. Having gone through cancelling process successfully first time, felt confident I had done so again, but apparently not and was charged £7.99 for a further month. So somehow I slipped up in the process. 1. Make sure you are on the uk site not USA ( it recognises your account but not your membership) 2.The app doesn’t support membership cancellation. There are other mistakes that can be made too. I was so sure I had cancelled but got caught out this time. Take care.

Built in Obsolescence

This means that your Kindle cannot last and you will soon have to buy a new one. After a while you will not be able to update to latest software. This means that you can pay but instead of downloading you will get the helpful message "something went wrong" - settings > device options > advanced options > update your Kindle (this last option will be shaded out after a while meaning it isn't an option). Other hardware, including mobile phones, have failing firmware. But there is a solution - buy a new device, and hopefully, import your library. You could buy a good few real books for the price of the replacement - this will at least give you a tech holiday!

Disappointed Never to Buy This Again

Disappointed Never to Buy This Again. My Kindle froze after 1 year and 1 month after the purchase. The power button didn't work to reboot it, tried different things, didn't work, called customer service, they offered me 15% discount on buying a new one! Ridiculous, cheap product and very poor quality.

Für mich ist das Abzocke, ich hab nix bestellt, nur gemerkt. Keine "Kaufbestätigung", Abbuchungsversuch ohne Erlaubnis

Ich habe mir einige Bücher merken wollen und ohne Kindle Account wurden diese gleich bestellt, ohne dass ich's bestellt hätte. Dann wurden mir Lastschriftgebühren berechnet weil alte Bankkonto, dazu hab ich keine Erlaubnis gegeben. Jetzt werde ich bedroht von Amazon. Das ist voll die Abzocke. Ich werde widerrufen, obwohl ich nix bestellt habe?! Und klar für Bücher gibt's online Storno nicht für Kindle, auch kein Kundendienst oder Email, damit man nicht revidieren kann. Leider sind 25€ für mich viel als Student. Heute reicht schon wenn man einmal auf ein Artikel klickt um hier Kauf zu fungieren. Und dann kommt Mutter Amazon und erpresst hier, aber kaum Stornorechte wie bei Büchern. Gerne hätte ich das anders geregelt, aber hab nie ne E-Mail bekommen noch in FAQs gelesen wie ich Kindle kontaktieren kann. Und Kindle ist gleich zu Mama gelaufen, soviel liegt's hier an Klärungsversuch, auch keine Kaufbestätigung na warum wo gibt's das bitte? Angst vor Storno oder was? Hab noch nie keine Bestätigungsemail je zu bekommen, hier wird man nur um deine Verbraucher rechte gebracht

Die Kindle-App ist komfortabel und nützlich ...

Ich benutze seit ein paar Jahren die "Kindle App" für Android und Windows von Amazon. Ich habe auch andere E-Book-Reader ausprobiert, bin aber immer wieder zur Kindle-App zurückgekehrt. Meine E-Books lese ich hauptsächlich mit einem Tablet, hin und wieder mit dem Smartphone und am Windows-PC. Wegen dieser Flexibilität ziehe ich die "Kindle-App" einem "Kindle-Endgerät" vor, das auch irgendwann veraltet und im Müll landet. Bei einer App hat man den Vorteil, dass es billiger ist und Updates ausreichend sind. Das Lesen von E-Books gefällt mir, vor allem wenn ich unterwegs bin. Dann kann ich fast ohne zusätzliches Gepäck überall auf meine Bibliothek zugreifen.

Einige IT-Fachbücher arbeite ich komplett durch und mache mir "Notizen" und markiere Textstellen mit dem digitalen Textmarker in verschiedenen Farben. Das Arbeiten mit dem "Textmarker" finde ich echt klasse. Ist auf allen Endgeräten die Funktion "Whispersync für Bücher" eingeschaltet, diese Funktion kann man übrigens auch in seinem Account auf der Amazon-Webiste einstellen, gelingt die Synchronisation der aktuellen Seite, Notizen und Textmarkierungen. Hin und wieder gab es leider doch Probleme mit der "Sync-Funktion", weshalb ich einen Stern abziehe. Der Support von Amazon stand mir aber immer hilfreich zur Seite.

Die Kindle-App verwende ich auch mit "Python" und "Scratch", indem ich entweder die "Scratch-App" oder die App "Pydroid 3" für Android (IDE für Python 3) parallel zur Kindle-App auf dem Tablet geöffnet habe und kann dann z.B. mein Python- oder Scratch-Fachbuch als E-Book lesen, durcharbeiten und sogar in der Horizontalen programmieren. Auf Reisen oder auf dem Sofa macht mir diese Kombi richtig viel Spaß. Daumen hoch!

Checking my account I noticed a pay for…

Checking my account I noticed a pay for £1 to Kindle that I had no idea about. The first chat led to promising of refund and apology. Then I got an email thanking me for the purchase of the same item (some book). I had to go on chat again and we'll see if this will help. It is not the question of £1, but how can this happen? If Amazon Kindle starts taking money at will (or for pressing a button on some device without knowing) where will this lead to? Why is there a usual procedure for purchacing online?

First, it’s too bad quality built, in terms of hardware,
Second, the ad support makes no sense. All the difference in price is monetized in a few days by Amazon, how is the decide not free? Or books should be free for the users of ad-supported devices...
And the delivery is just a scam: waiting three weeks more for a cheaper version? This is how they are squeezing every extra penny at the expense of customer experience.. not recommend

Amazon rewinding your books

This is mostly a problem for the kindle cloud reader, but the same thing happens on my kindle, and audible.

Whenever you don't read a book or listen to an audiobook, Amazon has an algorithm that starts turning back the pages. The day to page ratio would be very interesting to see, but I doubt it's public. In either case, the result is an impossibility of finding where the f u c k you left off in your book! You didn't read for 2 days? Well it only turned back about 1 page. Didn't read for 1 month? Have fun spending the first 10 minutes figuring out where you came to as it will have rewinded up to 10 pages!!! This has happened to about 75+ books and 20+ ebooks, over 6 years.

Perhaps some people like this feature, but I think it's the peak of arrogance not to allow the consumer to choose, whether or not the want to be spoon-fed by an AI. Let me decide if I need to re-read a page, thanks.

Nothing to complain

There’s nothing bad I have to say about Kindle! Purchasing the books works really well — except for accidentally clicking on the “1 click payment” — and reading is perfect, too.

They have almost every book, which is another benefit.
And about their e-readers I can’t find any problem!
