Beim Kauf meines ebikes wurde mir die Knog antitheft Apparatur empfohlen, aber erst das 4. Gerät funktionierte einwandfrei für die Dauer von 2 Jahren bis vor wenigen Tagen, als es es sich über die App nicht mehr scharfstellen ließ. Ich werde nun die Knog-Leiste abschrauben und das empfohlene Reparaturprozedere durchführen.

I have bought 5 lights from Knog.
So far I am not impressed by the companies’ customer service.

Stand by there products
Cool products. When there was a problem with a light button they replaced immediately. Wasn't much more expensive than no-name junk, where there certainly would not have been such an easy process.
Excellent bicycle products
Excellent light products for bikes, and a brilliant Scout Bike protection solution that fits for pushing away quick thieves during a bike tour stop.
PS: the recent app update issues have been resolved since yesterday. Your Knog Scout will again be managed in the app after you login again into the app, and hard reset your device. Support was swift to resolve this issue after contacting them.
I repeatedly tried to connect the unit…
I repeatedly tried to connect the unit to the “find my” app on my iPhone. No luck. I emailed tech support, and 5 days later got a very weak response, that contained no technical assistance. I reset the Knog unit 5 times. The 6th time, it finally connected. (This is not a simple procedure, and altogether took me 45 minutes). I do not recommend this product, and I definitely don’t recommend their non-responsive tech support (say hi to Bridg she/her).
Simply stay away from the product.
If you purchase this product, you will 100% receive no technical support from the company. Buy the product, and you will waste your money. Having written an extremely detailed explanation of the steps followed only to not have the unit connect to “find my”, and then the tech support responded with “please plug in the unit, and follow the steps on the trouble shooting guideline”. Yup! As I explained in the lengthy details, I tried the steps and …. Wait for it…. “The knog still doesn’t connect to ‘find my’ app on my cell phone. I’ve never received such poor support from a company. And the support took almost a week in response.
Furthermore, the company makes racist remarks and brings politics into “providing technical support”. How about just providing actual technical support? And when responding to customers about such a faulty product and poor connectivity, offer a solution or to gladly accept the product back.
If there was an option for zero stars, I would have selected it. Absolutely/positively do not purchase this product as I seem MANY other people with the EXACT same issue. Why can’t the tech support provide any solution? Not sure. Not even one recommendation to resolve the technical problem. And their response to no technical support is what???

Knog Provides Outstanding Service
Knog goes well beyond what I have come to expect out of suppliers - what outstanding service they provide.
The alarm activation button had come out of my Scout as a result of my problem with opening the charging port .I am 81 years old and had a stroke, which partly affected my vision. As a result, I purchased an E bike in order to have the capability to go places without relying on others. The Knog Scout gives me peace of mind when I park my bike when I'm not at home.
While generally this sort of damage may not be covered under warranty and I would have accepted Knog's decision had it not been to replace the Scout in this situation, the company did provide a replacement for me at no cost. This is truly remarkable, since i did admit to it probably being my fault.
Knog's decision to help me just further confirms to me and to others that Knog not only makes great, quality products but also provides exceptional service. I will continue to be a strong supporter of Knog and its products.

Great support on products
Recently got in touch with Knog support about a faulty light part. Bridg from their support team had been amazing in trying to resolve the issue. This is after trying a few times with a local bike supplier in UK where the product was purchased from. They did not help in resolving it but Knog support has been amazing in sending troubleshooting steps to try and resolve the fault and now they are issuing a new replacement part. Just shows how much they care about their product and customer satisfaction. Will definitely buy more from them for my next bike.

Blinder900 battery refused to charge = replaced
KNOG stands by its warranty. Love the Blinder900 lumen front light, but after a while it simply refused to accept charge. Left it at the retail store and liaised with KNOG online. Sent out a new unit in the post promptly and followed up every message promptly. KNOG is small but has a customer service culture that is rare nowadays. Big fan of their products, and their service. Purchasing the Blinder Mini Bike Twinpack has made my commute to and from work that much safer, simple to connect to the bike and provides sufficient light, ideal for short time use. After my bike light was lost (either stolen or it fell off during a ride), I reached out to the company. I was really impressed by how responsive and helpful the team (Bridg) was. No hassle, no second guessing—just quick, friendly service. They promptly sent me a replacement, and it arrived in no time. It's refreshing to deal with a company that stands by its products and takes care of its customers. Highly recommend Knog!

I have just received a replacement lighthead for an older model cycle light. I am so impressed with the incredible helpfulness of Bridg, the service rep, in guiding the diagnosis and offering a replacement in spite of being outside the warranty period, which was delivered so promptly. It's great to see a company who stands behind its products.
