they went dark on my claim

I own a short term rental and used Superhog for insurance to protect me and my property from guests damage. Filed a claim, they asked for proof of the cost, which i submitted the next morning, im now on week 3 with no response from superhog and i have sent 3 emails to customer service, have tried contacting them 3 separate times on the support portal for claims all with no response at all.

I have just booked a 2 day break from…

I have just booked a 2 day break from booking.com and then got a text telling me that I have to provide additional information through superhog. There was NOTHING on the booking.com site that this was required, Superhog was NOT mentioned nor any mention of supplying personal information and paying extra. What is even worse, it that what I have paid is non-refundable, so either I loose my money or I HAVE to provide my personal data. I am very unhappy - this is TOTALLY unacceptable.

Beware

I booked an apartment and had to use this site to get the damage waiver cover. I was given no other choice by the rental company. They took my money, so I paid in full. I then found out I had to use this company, who wanted all my personal information…. enough to steel my identity. It is law in the UK that the only information a company should be requesting is what is needed for the purpose. I read the terms and conditions and it says they will use my personal data and pass it on to others and if I’m not happy for this to happen then not to use this company. I was not able to find a safe way to pay this damage waiver so I lost all my money. This company is not an insurance company, as it suggests, it appears to be a data collecting site.

Superhog has helped my property management company for 3+ years

Superhog has helped my property management business over the last 3 years by bringing trust into my relationship with clients, peace of mind with guests, and safety knowing that our guests are verified and cleared. Superhog has done a tremendous job rectifying any damage caused by guests in the rare event that it happens. It has helped create a trusted brand for my business with my clients, allowing for more opportunities for my company’s growth and success. Thank you to the dedicated Superhog team!

Great Account Management Team

I've been partnering with Superhog for the past few years and have always found them helpful, with an excellent account management team.
Leo has always gone above and beyond, particularly in the early days when I was unsure how the product would be facilitated in a home swap platform.
Knowing I have a trusted team on hand gives me peace of mind.

So far, great company to use for short term rental

I talked with Kat to find out the services they offer. I have a short-term rental property that I am working to build a website on Lodgify where guests can book directly. I want to make sure the guests are verified, and that I'm covered in case of damages. I signed up for Know Your Guest and the insurance/damage coverage. Kat was awesome to work with. Once I was signed up, Nic walked me through the onboarding process. He was great too. I haven't used the products yet, but so far the company has been great to work with and I like that they work with Lodgify customers.

Great experience

Great experience. Nic was very thorough in his demo explaining the platform of Know your guest. I got the "whole hog" view which I loved. THank you Nic for making it so easy to understand and for answ4ering my questions kindly.
