Koala klubs Multi Activity Camps Opiniões 

I emailed the club on numerous occasions regarding my booking and never got a reply. I wanted to ask about activities to ensure my child would be safe. The lack of response concerned me and made me worry more about leaving my child. Unfortunately I had to look further alternative childcare.

My son has attended 2 days a week through the summer holidays he has global developmental delay and suspected autistic regardless of him struggling to behave appropriately the team at leek was fantastic with him woukd highly recommend Zoe and her team

My children attended the Summer Club, and unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing.

My children reported that the lead staff member was openly saying “I am having a bad day” several times in front of the children. This is very unprofessional.

The children reported that they were often shouted at and told to be quiet in the hall, which made the environment unpleasant. It was clear based on the feedback that the young recruited staff were not happy to be there, which created a negative atmosphere.

One particularly upsetting incident involved my daughter stepping in dog poo on the club’s grounds. Instead of offering support, a staff member told her to “go away, you stink” and left her to clean the mess off her trainers herself while other children laughed. When it was raised with the lead the following day, the staff member denied it happened.

Overall, it was a very poor experience, and I would not recommend Koalas.

My 3 kids went to the leek scout hut koala club during the 6 weeks holidays and loved every minute, every day was a different activity even with brough park leisure centre being closed they still managed to entertain the staff are lovely and always accommodating the kids had nothing but fun and a lifesaver thank you!! Recommended brilliant club !!

Booked session - venue was closed - no prior notification. Tried multiple times to get a response from the director. My calls and complaint have been ignored. Would strongly advise against them.

Today was the first time my 2 little boys attended this club I was very apprehensive about taking them as they have attended pervious clubs and hated (none of these were koala klubs)it however on arrival the staff were so friendly and welcoming they answered all my concerns professionally. When asking about dinner the man explained they got a free pack up on the haf scheme but not snack and was fine with me leaving them while I went and got them snack. On returning it was lovely to see one of the leaders sat with my boys building with them and actually engaged with the children.When picking up my children the staff were friendly and professionally and when they came to me my children were guttered I picked them up early and asked if they could attend the rest of the week *even though iv booked the week of to spend with them* seeing how happy my children are has really made me feel that there in safe hands. After hearing that they been swimming on the sky walk played lego and done so much is fantastic. I went away and booked them in tomorrow but haf to wait for approval but after speaking with Neil he soon got it sorted for me and my boys are now all booked on for West Park club tomorrow. Fantastic friendly team.

My son loves it always asking if he’s going to koala Klub he loves that he can go swimming. There always has a great time. This is the best klub he gone to the staff is excellent will book again every half term and summer holidays and Christmas, if they do it . Thank you

Staff are friendly and welcoming , my kids always have a great time and love they get to do swimming as part of the activities. Only thing I would say my children comment on is lunches and snacks aren't great

My step son loves it there (Sidcup) he is Autistic, Deaf , ADHD and Cortisol dysplasia (under developed brain). It's really difficult to find places for him to learn how to socialise and just have fun.
He enjoys going there and loves the swim sessions, art and games . He participates and has a wonderful time.

Very poor management, had to chase to be paid for hours worked over Xmas and wasn’t paid the contracted amount with no response to further communication. Disappointing for a student trying to cover rent money and being taken advantage of.

My children have sen needs, so for them to attend a club that gives the children activities through the day, as well as a swimming class, is amazing. It also helps my children who have social interaction difficulties, the staff are always very caring, polite and approachable. Its such a shame the local authority wish to scrap something which children can attend, and thoroughly enjoy. It sadens me greatly.

We booked our child on sessions during the summer holidays 2024. Which we paid. We then had an email to say it was an IT error and the dates were not actually available. We re arranged one session and asked for a refund on the other. Short notice child care had to be arranged and paid for due to their error. After numerous emails, msg and phone calls....7 x months on and we still have not yet had our refund.
Emails and msg are now being ignored!!
Do not book with this company, very poor service!!

Despite reaching out to Neil one more than one occasion to raise a complaint he has not bothered to get back to me.

The club depends on who runs it. Crooklog was great until summer 2024. Some carers are not apt in providing care for children of different needs. The care providers bring friends in without obviously checking their credentials. Carers get so angry at the children. Would never take my child back.

Neil you can’t put on your website that complaints can be emailed to you but you don’t bother acknowledging or responding back.

My daughter always has such an amazing time when she attends crooklog and is begging to go again asap, I try to book as soon as possible so that she has a secured spot and the minute it's confirmed, she packs her bag and loves the swimming and crafts, she said she has made so many new friends and feels safe and happy there, I find the staff helpful and keep a good eye on all of the children and rarely hear any complaints from other parents and the kids all seem to come out with a smile and eager to tell their care givers a run down of their day, it is close to where I work and is perfect for my family to use and helps boost my daughters confidence, especially with making friends and her swimming has improved too, she is proud of her achievements and can't wait to come back soon.

We got to know the club only this year. My son is 5 years old, he doesn't know the language well yet, but I tried to leave him for almost the whole day. He was not upset or sad, told that they had fun, tried to participate in games. Therefore, I think that everything is very good. Thank you!

I cannot speak highly enough of Koala Club. To start with, the staff at Koala club are amazing! My little boy absolutely loves coming to the HAF and I know he is well looked after and thrives while he is there. There is so much for them to do, creative activities, sports, games, it's endless.
His confidence has come on so much through going their, his swimming has come on leaps and bounds as they get to go swimming each day and this is such a crucial and important part of children's learning that not all parents can afford so to have swimming their is truly fantastic!
We have tried 3 other holiday clubs and my little boy didn't enjoy any of them and I wasn't overly pleased with the care he received whilst there so we nearly gave up, until we tried Koala clubs and we have never looked back. I would be stuck without them, they provide high quality care, play and learning for my little boy during the school holidays and get him out the house enabling him to enjoy the school holidays to it's fullest potential.
A massive thank you to Flynn and the other lady at the Cheadle staffs Koala club. My little boy is always telling me how amazing you both are and how you help him, like at swimming, giving him that little helping hand to be more confident in the water, it really is amazing.

My daughter come for the first time and she loved it so much she want to no when she came come back. It's very helpful with working parents or even if not working as its good for kids

My daughter was very happy with all activities provided.

Both my children 8 and 10 year olds absolutely loved it! They played games all day long and also had a free ham and cheese sandwich for lunch. We are very grateful.

The kids really enjoyed it and are always looking forward to attending. As for me as a parent it allows me to go to work and pick them up as the opening and closing timing is good for working class parents. XXX
