We had multiple communications with…

We had multiple communications with Kriya and were initially assured they could work with us. After sharing our revenue details—which were never flagged as an issue—we were told to expect a final proposal within days. However, at the last minute, they informed us that they only work with companies generating around £50 million in revenue. This contradicts what we know, as they do work with much smaller businesses. This last-minute change was a complete waste of time and highly unprofessional.

Really shocking recent experience since the change from Marketform…

Really shocking recent experience since changing from MarketForm. The account manager we had was next to useless - had to constantly try and chase her. We had an issue with one of our major companies going bust - we were treated like lepers by Kriya - they moved cash from other trades, refused to forward funds on to us that had been paid and 'forgot' to tell us about invoices that had been settled. We had heard that they were moving away from invoice discounting in the market and challenged them on this. We had assurances that this wasn't the case. Unfortunately they have since decided to change their business model and triple our standard fees. We are now having an awful time with them chasing us for payments and being uncommunicative. We used to love working with Marketform, I wouldn't recommend or go near Kriya ever in the future.

It sounds like we could have done a better job with communication and the issues surrounding your account. As you mention, due to customers defaulting on repayment, we needed to intervene, per our terms of service. However, this is not the level of service we aim to deliver, and we have investigated what happened to prevent future issues.

Regarding the changes in our business model, we understand the impact this may have had. Our intention is to be fully transparent with all clients, and we regret that this wasn't your experience.
Unfortunately, it seems we’re no longer an ideal fit for your business needs. We’ve offered assistance in finding alternative lenders to support your business, and if we can be of further help here please let us know.

Where do I start - Amazing service!

Where do I start ! After the COVID pandemic we like a lot of businesses were put under extra financial pressure after taking our necessary CBIL loans etc. Once work stared to pick up we were left with cash flow issues due to the loans we had reached our lending / credit limits which was having a severe impact on our ability to deliver projects, at the same time we were tendering for large projects which would in turn rapidly grow our business - Then we discovered Kriya (previously Market Finance) - from the outset the level of service and customer care has been nothing short of amazing, from the set up process to navigating the website to make trades. A special mention to Lauren my account manager who never fails to answer the phone when needed and always responds quickly to emails - To date we have traded over £1.7 million which is quite amazing considering where we were prior to COVID. - I could not recommend Kriya enough to anyone who is wishing to from their business!

Dire communication and very, very poor decision making

On the bottom of their email footers it says "Kriya is Sanskrit for 'action' and being in a 'state of flow'. We want your business to flow brilliantly."
This statement, while romantically written, is completely untrue.
We took out a CBill with Kriya with monthly payments of £11k. Since taking the loan, several companies have gone bankrupt on us as a result of Covid, and leaving us with unexpected bad debt. At the beginning of the year we requested that the remaining 5 months of payments be doubled so that the monthly outgoing could be halved. Our bankers HSBC and HMRC have been really helpful and understanding of our current situation which will see cashflow take a hit in Juy/August. Kriya on the other hand have been desperately slow to respond and eventually after many months of emails, phone calls and me even turning up unannounced at their London office, I've been declined??? Without explanation by the way.

June Update:
Having left the above review, Kriya contacted me. They had misinterpreted my request. Its amazing how a simple conversation like adults can resolve a situation. Joan is a credit to her company! She was sympathetic towards our dilemma and took the correct and responsible action to rectify the situation. I understand and appreciate fully that without the Cbills, we wouldn't be here today and for that I am grateful. That said, in a few months we will have paid the last of our balance and I cant wait!

Trying to install the Kriya app on…

Trying to install the Kriya app on BigCommerce and get this error:

merchantonboarding.kriya.co’s server IP address could not be found.

I have emailed several times their customer support and have had no responses over a two week period. Shame as we really wanted to give Kriya a try with our B2B customers.

I am hoping I get a response here and I am happy to amend this review if I can get the support needed to get set up, thanks so much.
