Our company has undergone a comprehensive rebranding, reflecting a renewed, tech-driven vision aimed at further enhancing our guests’ overall experience.We are inspired by Megas Kyon (Canis Major), the constellation that guided ancient Greek sailors. Kyone embodies the spirit of celestial navigation and modern elegance. Derived from the Greek word Kyon, meaning dog, it nods to the loyal guide of mariners and the brilliance of Sirius, the brightest star in the night sky. At Kyone Yachting, we carry this legacy forward, crafting yachts that unite heritage and innovation, precision and beauty, tradition and the thrill of discovery.

Great family-owned charter company

I sailed with the catamaran rented from this family-owned charter company last year in April.
Together with family and friends we had a great time sailing the Saronic Islands and enjoying the blue waters and amazing food.
Despite the rain being one day and one night with cold temperatures, due to the heating system installed on the boat, we were fully protected from the elements and slept very comfortably.
Of course, the lunches and dinners in secluded golfs were the highlight of the trip.
The boat was in top condition and the two brothers administrating the company were available, literally, 24 h for any question or support.
We have a small incident with a part for one of the toilets and they immediately send out a mechanic from Athen with the part to fix the issue (of course at no extra cost).
Besides the non-stop technical support, for me more important is the human aspect of the business. The owners are sailors themselves, and they understand the importance of having a reliable, safe and comfortable boat that you can enjoy during your sailing vacation in Greece.
I am looking forward to my next vacation at the end of May this year when I am going to rent the catamaran again,
Being an experienced sailor, I can only highly recommend renting a boat from
Kyone Yachting.

The best service I have ever received in yacht rental. Courteous and friendly staff, spares no means, always available for advice and treatment of issues that arise during the voyage. I will always go back to being their customer

Hands-down my favorite sailing charter…

Hands-down my favorite sailing charter company in Athens, and I’ve chartered in Greece for many years.

Kyone Yachting (formerly known as Greek Sails) is a small, family-owned operation based in Alimos Marina which stands out in a sea of bigger, more impersonal charter companies.

What I love most is the personal touch. It’s a small fleet (just a handful of high-quality new boats), so they genuinely take care of each customer. From the moment you inquire about a booking, the team makes sure your needs are met, no matter if it’s your first bareboat charter or you’re a seasoned sailor. Their support is top-notch: responsive, helpful, and proactive before, during, and after your trip.

The boats themselves are impeccably maintained, far better than most charter companies. Other skippers regularly comment on how envious they are when they see the condition of a Kyone yacht.

Everything is in perfect working order: sails look almost new, batteries are healthy and reliable, we always have plenty of lines, there’s always an extra anchor and chain and a proper toolbox (thankfully never needed, but reassuring). Air-cooled outboards on the dinghy, which anyone who’s dealt with saltwater-cooled engines in the Med will appreciate for their simplicity and reliability.

Check-in and check-out are a breeze: smooth, thorough, and stress-free. The boat layouts make sense, lines are logical and well-led, and everything is clearly labeled, no hunting around in confusion when you’re tired after a long day on the water.

Whether you’re planning a relaxed cruise through the Saronic Gulf or a more ambitious trip to the Cyclades, Kyone is my go-to every time. If you’re looking for new, excellent boats, genuine personal service, and zero compromises on maintenance, book with them. You won’t be disappointed.

Highly recommended, 5 stars all the way!

Experience with Kyoneyachting

I sailed recently with a boat rented by Kyone Yachting (formerly Greek Sails). Kyone Yachting is a family-owned company and the two brothers handing the booking were always there, giving solutions to every issue that has arisen. For example, there was a rescheduling to our trip, and they did everything they could do to help us with it, although it was our first time booking with them. Also, we called them twice, looking for some things on the boat, and they were glad to help us.

Check in and check out were as fast as possible. We sailed to the Saronic Golf and to Cyclades and we didn’t have to worry about a thing, the boat was brand new, the sails were in excellent condition, easy to sail, very clean, nothing was missing.

It was an experience I will always remember. I highly recommend Kyone Yachting for renting a boat.

All boats are in perfect conditions, clean and serviced by the best way possible.
The crew is not crew, they are family, warm and helpful, ready to assist anytime 24/7.
