100% pleased! Great software. Recently had to upgrade a computer in my office - the most important one. I followed the instructions and set it up and went home. This morning had a few minor tweaks but everything worked out great@ It even analyzed the new machine and required an update before running to avoid corruption. Very very pleased.
That I can't believe the number of one star reviews that this has gotten. I can't somebody leave two or three or four stars? Does all the negative ones have to be one? Makes me think that it's competitors trying to downvote the competition because it really worked great for me.
It even remembered the history of files dealing with certain apps, the only thing it didn't bring over was passwords. That literally took about 5 minutes to get around

I bought this PCSync laplink a few years ago. It does not work on the new laptop I just got. I was informed that I would need to purchase a new license. I will look for another way to transfer files and not waste any more money on this company

Awful software. Took a very long time to transfer. Despite turning One Drive off it seems to have used One Drive for the transfer. What has been successfully transferred I could have done more quickly with a external hard drive/Memory Stick/One Drive. And it hasn't successfully transferred Office 2016, which ultimately the point of paying for the software.

Feeling a bit ripped off as Laplink claim it will transfer files and programmes.

Got an OEM version of PC Sync with a new laptop. Synchronised with my Workstation, all good until directories exceeded three levels, then I had to break the sync jobs down into three separate ones in order for it to run without errors. I could live with that.
The crunch came when my hard drive failed and I had to reinstall the OS onto a new hard drive. My licence failed and Laplink told me the product was now defunct and I would have to buy again. They did offer a minimal discount not that that was any comfort as my other PC still had PC Sync with no parent system.
After that level of customer support and a not very reliable product I recommend avoiding them. There is better out there and free.

I bought a new computer. Lap link did not transfer many of the files, it failed to transfer my login and password files. It ignored some specialty programs that I pay high prices to maintain on my system. Using the chat was worthless. I'd give it a C--

I just used PCmover to transfer my programs, files and settings, from an old laptop to a new one. The move was faultless, and everything was transferred and ready to use. I had a few questions before starting the transfer, and got instant help on these, on more that one occasion. I can only assume that those who have written bad reviews about this product failed to carefully follow the good step-by-step instructions. I was told it was important to use a laplink cable, and maybe some users think they can save money by not using this. As far as the price is concerned, it does seem a lot. But the product saves endless time, and the support behind it must cost a lot to provide. I personally would recommend PCmover.

Opdateret: Jeg fandt ud af at man kan købe licenser andre steder online til en MEGET reduceret pris. Det er kun hos PCmover selv at prisen er vanvittigt høj. - Mærkelig politik....

Don't buy from them! They charged me £21 for shipping after hiding the cost and when I asked them to cancel the order they sent it anyway. Now they want me to spend £20.88 to ship it back to them in order to get a refund. The attitude of the customer service agents suggests this is all my fault. Very poor customer service!
