Leider sehr negative Erfahrung – aus meiner Sicht eine klare Abo-Falle.

Ich habe eine Taschenlampe eines bekannten Herstellers gekauft. Auf der Verpackung befand sich ein QR-Code, den ich im Glauben gescannt habe, die Garantie zu registrieren. Danach wurde ich aufgefordert, eine Verifizierung über Google Play mit 0,00 € durchzuführen.

Zu keinem Zeitpunkt war für mich ersichtlich, dass ich damit ein kostenpflichtiges Abonnement abschließe.

Kurz darauf wurden mir 29,90 € berechnet. Ich habe das Abo sofort gekündigt, dennoch wurde der Betrag abgebucht.

Der Support antwortet nur mit Standard-Mails („Ticket erstellt“), bisher ohne konkrete Lösung.

Ich kann nur dringend davor warnen, auf solche QR-Codes oder angebliche Verifizierungen hereinzufallen. Für mich wirkt das wie eine irreführende Methode, um ungewollte Abos abzuschließen.

Betrug! Vorgemerkte Belastung meiner Kreditkarte in Höhe von 29.90€. Ich habe kein Abo abgeschlossen, sondern gestern eine Transaktion mit GooglePay durchgeführt. Frechheit!

scam website- placed to trick a subscription that looked like a verification that i was not a bot- had to change card detail to cancel

This is a scam website. They charged me £29.90 for an alleged subscription - that I did not sign up to and had never heard of the company before I saw my credit card statement. They also go by Targettides.com or Targett Ides.

This company is a fraud. Trick you with commercial in an app you're using to subscribe when you think you are using the actual app. Will steel your money under the disguise of an subscription.

I was scammed by them as I thought I was clicking on confirm ID and only saw £0 but within a couple of days £29.90 taken from my credit card. Now been refunded as I got a fraud alert but definitely scammers as I didn’t even know their name until told by card company and never received any confirmation of a subscription or T&Cs
Avoid and report.

Ein Stern ist noch zuviel. Mir wurden ebenfalls 29,90 abgebucht.

Avoid at all costs if you can , no idea what I clicked on to be charged by them but they have changed their name to readers world obviously to get away with more scams , they need reporting by everyone

Scam! Avoid. Same thing happened to me. £29.99 taken out last month and today without my knowing or authorisation. Bank says this is a known business model where you are looking at a site and it gets you to inadvertently subscribe. Banks can reissue your money for up to 128 days.

Scam company, tried take like €29.99 out of my account. Never even heard of them, thankfully my bank flagged it. Don't have a clue where they could have got my details from though as even had an email off them but I never signed up to anything

This is a scam site. They have taken 3 payments from my credit card of £29. I have no idea how they have got my details. I have put a block on my account to stop them. Disgusting.
