I went into this course on a whim, purely out of the love I have for video games, anime, and other media. I was a little unsure at first, and I’m not done with the course so take this with a grain salt, (I’ve done a little over 100 lessons) but overall I’m very happy with this course. It’s very digestible, with most lessons being under 15 minutes and the longer lessons being demonstrations that go in depth on the exact process being shown. On top of that the course has covered a lot of bases, not just voice acting to voice act. Things I had concerns about like the financial responsibilities and how to market yourself also got addressed. I’m not gonna say I’m a professional, but I can confidently say that I have way more motivation and knowledge than I had before I started, the dream I want seems achievable you know? It’s something that I would recommend someone who wants to get into voice acting assuming they can afford it, well done Joe!

This course is so thorough I had to keep pausing to take notes, cause it was like trying to take sip from a fire hose!! I loved how easy to understand everything was, how Joe taught things like mind-set, as well as the technical stuff. This course was fantastic. So worth it.

Joe gives inciteful information and explains it in a way where it's easy to absorb and doesn't overcomplicate topics. Definitely recommend to anyone learning the field of voiceover

Joe's teaching style is very nice, it's to the point but still fill with useful infroamtoin, I learned a lot in a short amount of time.

Joe and his team made a comprehensive class that opened my eyes to a lot in the voice acting community that I didn't know about. All at an affordable price compared to some of the other voice acting classes that I have tried in the past.

All his videos are, for the most part, nice little bites of information and expertise from Joe's 20 years of working in the VO industry that I find myself going back to regularly now that I have completed the course. These 10-30 min videos are nice to look at when I forget something or need a refresher on a topic.

Joes' academy and level up program are an absolute blast!

He's very good at providing the necessary information between humour to keep modules engaging.

Overall, an awesome experience I'd recommend to any voice actor!

Joe's course on how to get started with Voice work is very informative. The course material is well thought and laid out, and the encouragement has helped me too. I would recommend this for any beginners.

The lessons were amazing, I am so glad I chose to take the course. Since I did some acting classes in the past there were some things that were not new to me and I also made a dub of a Videogame once so I knew how to use the basics of software. Some problems though were on me due to my ADHD which caused my mind to go wayward and forced me to rewatch a few things but other than that, I am glad I got to work with one of my favorite voice actors and I hope we can meet face to face so I can thank him personally!

Joe’s straight forward approach and explanations are very clear and his advice is excellent! He has very good videos and the information he provides is or could be overwhelming, yet he guides you the listener or student through the information so you are not overwhelmed and you can come back and get more as you need it! Highly recommend his Academy!! Learnvoiceacting.com is one of the best I have found!!

The lessons in the courses are presented very well and relate to real-life situations, giving clear examples and sound advices that really work for students who need guidance in Voice Acting career. The community of the Academy is very friendly, close-knit and helpful to everyone in a very trusting atmosphere. The seminars conducted are very helpful, educational and inspiring. Everything I learned from the academy improved my skills and I am very grateful and happy for my continued growth in the academy.

This course is a great introduction to voice acting, pulling together a lot of helpful information for anyone just getting started. Joe, the owner, is very straightforward and encourages you to find what works best for you. He also offers practical recommendations for gear you can start with, as well as suggestions for things you might invest in as you grow. While the course doesn’t help you find jobs directly, it does point you toward trusted sites to explore. The community is also a big plus—it’s welcoming, supportive, and a great place to troubleshoot problems, share experiences, and celebrate personal wins.

While I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it for more advanced or expert voice actors, it’s perfect for beginners or those looking for a solid introduction to the field.

Amazing way to learn. I’ve struggled on multiple courses due to the learning format, but Joe seriously makes it an easy to understand and in a safe learning environment. He encourages you to take breaks and not overwork, while keeping you motivated. Best purchase in a long time.

The material is easy to digest, the videos feasible to understand. It’s nice to know I have access to the material at all times and that there is a built in community that cares about every step of our journeys as voice actors!
