Have been waiting for a repair to a window for 6 months. Constantly told it has been reported to the Landlord McIvor Homes, yet despite numerous calls and emails we are still waiting! They were quite happy to liaise with me promptly to deal with an arrears issue which was resolved within days and at the time we were promised the repair to a window that wont stay closed let alone lock!
You may offer affordable homes but that doesnt mean tenants should be treat as second class citizens! The only time they have bothered to act on a request is when I have threatened legal action or when they wanted money!!!
Absolute abomination!!!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Moved in December 2021, a few repairs were done.
Still waiting for rest I.e. holes in floor boards only carpet supporting people walking on it, boiler leaking etc.
Landlord’s contractor states Letsmove are saying jobs are done when they’re not.
Communication wise has been ok, but keep blaming landlord for lack of response. Now seeking legal advice, even been told he wants £500 per month in a flat that’s not worth it.
I won’t be using these again and would advise not to even entertain them.

Terrible service, directed by a terrible person.... from several Accounting errors that left me massively out of pocket, Lost keys and 'we forgot to tell you he is not moving in anymore'

The arrogance of the Director who ignores emails won't call back etc. despite owing money to customers.....

The only person who got turned over in this encounter was Me the only person who caused it all was him! and no-one in that office cared... it took 8 phone calls this week to get him to authorise my payment weeks after email's he clearly didn't read, informing them of their second accounting mistake.....
I just hope the staff see how he handled his error and take note, not to be surprised when he treats them with the same contempt..

I would never recommend Letsmove to other landlords for managing your property. They are quite honestly the most incompetent and outrageous letting agency I have ever experienced and I struggle to understand how they are still trading. They will never call you back – and quite frankly it’s less hassle and safer to manage a property yourself than pay this company to do it. This company lost the inventory photographs they took as part of the management package and failed to file information during a DPS case they were supposed to be managing (despite calling them daily to do so) which led to the Tenant’s full return of deposit; when the damage to the property totalled more than the deposit. During the tenancy they nearly always paid the rent into our account late; even though the tenants had paid on time. They lied about conducting the 6 months check as part of the management package. They did not conduct a final check of the property; or collect the keys when the tenant moved out as part of the management package. A truly awful company. If I’d have had the energy after the battle with the tenant trying to recover some costs to cover the damage I’d have taken Letsmove to court. Instead I’ve spent 5 minutes writing this short review (because Letsmove are not worth any more time) to warn other prospective landlords to avoid.

Communication is poor from them... Just don't reply to emails or calls.

Because of the slo/ on existent comms... I imagine if something goes wrong, like with the boiler, it would just be a nightmare.

Already worried about getting deposit back as I've read in other reviews that it's made almost impossible

Regularly disappointed with this company. On two occasions rent was paid late (tenant paid his rent on time) and they failed to investigate when I made a formal written complaint. Also, did not provide regular monthly rent statements in accordance with our agreement. Took our property off the market with them and went with someone else.
