Be aware Liberty is really GardaWorld, it's lost its local touch

Technology is 5/5 (app is great), management and customer service 0/5. Customers should know that Liberty is no longer really a local company; it is constrained by GardaWorld and all of its rigid policies. If you run into a problem (as I did), you will be facing the usual "corporate nightmare" of call centre staff who don't have the authority to take decisions, no one will return your phone calls (I called in 5 or 6 times to finally get my issue resolved), and the corporation will not take responsibility for their errors, even going so far as to say that problems with their systems are "beyond their control". Really, really unfortunate as I had a good relationship with Liberty prior to upgrading my system. It is an expensive service to begin with and it's hard to trust the relationship going forward when standard corporate double-speak rather than simple human interaction has become the norm.

Great Service

Everything was very smooth for me, the person that helped me was Jackson. He was incredibly knowledgeable, efficient, and took the time to explain how everything works. I asked a lot of questions and he didn't make me feel stupid or anything.

The entire process was seamless, the installation was quick and flawless and the communication was really good.

So far i have no issues. Home feels a lot more secure now and i can carry on my day with a peace of mind knowing my partner is safe.

Beyond disrespected

I HAVE NEVER… been so disrespected by someone in technical support in my life, he made a mistake and I was forced to apologize before he continued our phone call, I was then berated by him for how I handle my life and how I should treat people… how dare he! I am a wonderful person who was calling for help and instead I was treated beyond poorly I contemplated cancelling my services for good! Shame on them

Liberty Security saved my basement

I've had my security system set up through Liberty Security for the last 5 years. It has so far saved me TWICE with the water sensor that alerted me to a leak in my basement which I was able to catch right away and prevent a HUGE home insurance claim. Water damage can add up quickly and I cant even estimate the amount of damage that would have been caused had my system not alerted me right away to the problem.
The system has always worked well and anytime I have a question or an issue I get help right away.
They have been awesome

Great Service!

I contacted Liberty Security to have a system installed in my home and was very pleased with the professionalism of both the sales representative and the technician. The sales representative was very thoughtful & asked a lot of questions to fully understand what I needed to protect my home and family and the technician took his time to explain how everything worked. Highly recommend Liberty!

Brock at Liberty was so helpful in…

Brock at Liberty was so helpful in choosing a security system for my family after a break n enter, explained everything to me and had it all arranged very quick making us feel more secure and safe. Reaching him is easy and after a few adjustments once Adam came to install who was very courteous, kind and knowledgeable made a couple adjustments my quote didnt change. Thank you to Brock and Adam from Liberty I highly recommend

I requested a quote from Liberty

I requested a quote from Liberty, as I have been with Telsco security for 10+ years.
I ended my interest with Liberty, as a result of not only, no in home visit... but, they requested photos of all my present security equipment.
Just to see if it was compatible with their services.
As a customer, why would I do all the leg work??!!
I will pass... thanks!

Very satisfied

Liberty set me up with cams and a basic system. Davis was very clear on terms and options, so no surprises for me down the road. Tech was great as well, highly recommend! All canadian too, big plus!

Simply does not work

Simply does not work. Easily goofed. Cameras that were installed were not formatted dont do anything. Did not record any thing. Can get the same garbage from 7/11, 100 % blind to the world. I am vibrating with rage right now. Got on the band wagon that thieves defeated years ago and sold it. Savage business model. I am so not satisfied or feel safe. I
am sure you will continue to take my money and not care. I need a security system that will keep my family safe. You failed hard. YOU have to defeat the thieves and rapists. Yet you proudly sell something that simply doesnt work. How is it that a common thief has more technology than you? You are to comfortable and should not be in your position.
I paid for a security system. Now make it work. I am under your warranty.
Plastic bolted to my house is not working. What and why did i hire you!!!
Your installation tech just put plastic on my home. I can go to dollaramma and do the same thing!
FIX IT! Every job and task I do I own!!!! At least have the decency to up hold the values I hold dear to my heart.
If you are in this for a fast buck and failure keep going.
End note. You are PAID IN FULL! For nothing. Nothing.
I would be personally embarrassed. I cant be more embarrassed for you.

Security system installed and working great

We had a video, access and security system installed in our office a couple months ago. The process went smooth. The installers were great and worked through any issues in a timely and professional manner.
Brock at Liberty was always responsive to any questions and was easy to deal with.
The website is easy to use and when we have wanted to make small changes their technical support team has been available and very helpful.

Brock and Benjamin (tech) were all extremely helpful during the whole process. I have to give kudos to Brock for being so responsive and flexible with helping me set up a great security system. He was able to accommodate last minute changes and explain a little mishap that happened with the cameras.

Benjamin was also great with installation and really patient during the whole process. Super knowledgeable and was able to help simplify and expedite the security process. No issues at all with any of the items at this moment!

It ends up being a bit pricier than your regular Telus security system but the reliability and monitoring makes it worth it.

Read your contract before you sign!

The first thing says that they can change the contract however they want as long as they give you 30 days notice. They raised the monthly cost on me because they added a service I will never use because I don't have equipment that it applies to. Still, it "went up for everyone".

The salesman was rushing me and I should have read the contract better.

Also if you get in arrears at all they harass the crap out of you. It's ridiculous. Pay on time for years then miss some payments because of hard times, email them to tell them why and when you can pay and they just constantly call you and email you, never actually responding to what you told them.

When your provider doesn't call back, call Liberty.

We contacted Liberty Security following issues with our previous security provider. Within two weeks (at our convenience)of contacting them, we had met with a sales rep, received a quote and had a new, state of the art system installed.

The entire experience, from initial visit to installation, was without any issues. Brock was of great assistance in evaluating our needs without pressuring us into anything devices we did not require. We were able to reuse most of our old systems sensors, so bonus points for cost savings.
