It would be great to have access to a wider selection of popular songs, similar to what is available on platforms like Spotify. I understand that Lickd cannot license every song, but I would still like unavailable songs to appear in the search results with a message explaining that a Lickd license is not currently available. That would be more helpful than receiving no results and wondering whether I searched incorrectly.

Great customer support and a wide range of open and premium licenses to use. It could be a larger list but I feel it will continue to grow

Amazing support services—responding fast and providing quality support. My studio had a hard time with FyrFly before. Partnering with Lickd is such a relief.

Expensive and support is very lacking. Each time I use a track I have to ask support to sort out a copyright claim.

Tired of paying a monthly subscription then making edit decisions to find the credits have expired. Desperately unhelpful to then find the £49 unlimited option has been withdrawn.

They didn't repond when I pointed out their credit expiration warning email has a bug in the code and doesn't properly say how many days the credits have left.

I have given the companies hundreds of pounds for mostly nothing. They're not a bit interested when you contact them, just encouraging me to buy more credits.

I love lickd ... being able to actually earn money from my YouTube dance/dance fitness videos (with music) is amazing. I was starting to think this would never be possible. Lickd is so easy to use, and everything worked exactly as the lickd website explained. Loved it. Keen for more music to be added.

I've been a Lickd subscriber for several months and the concept is genuinely great. However I'm currently unable to publish a video because my YouTube channel won't sync to the Videos & Claims section, meaning I can't clear copyright claims on tracks I've already paid to license.
The issue is a duplicate channel created when I switched from a personal to a brand account — something Lickd's own support acknowledged as a known problem. Despite multiple emails the issue remains unresolved days later.
What's particularly frustrating is that Lickd respond to licensing claim queries within the hour, but a technical issue blocking me from publishing gets slow, generic troubleshooting steps that don't fix anything. The actual fix — removing the duplicate channel on their end — is simple and requires no action from me, yet it still hasn't been done.
I have a finished documentary ready to publish with 8 licensed tracks and I'm now considering rebuilding the entire soundtrack on another platform because I can't get a straightforward technical fix resolved in a reasonable timeframe.
As for the product itself — getting recognisable commercial songs into YouTube videos at this price is genuinely incredible. The downside is the library doesn't feel curated. There's a lot of trash to wade through before you find the gems, and the search — including the AI search — makes this slow and tedious. Loading times don't help. The playlists are better but they're rarely updated and there are very few of them. The included stock music is weak and not worth signing up for on its own, but if you find even one premium track a month the subscription pays for itself. I just wish they'd invest time in making the experience smoother. The wasted time searching is a real cost.

This is a game changer for creators, the library is ever growing and I can always find something suitable for my various different projects

The management team must have worked together for years on this, your search for music is over. Just pay them and they will deliver

So I was curious about this company as I’m looking for music to accompany my videos. Anyway I have spent 30 min trying to communicate with a HUMAN as I asked for my account to be deleted. I have not purchased a subscription. The information, as far as I can ascertain, is frustrating. So you grant access to the company. Change your mind immediately and had to resort to writing reviews in the hope a human will respond. I have dodged a you know what. The customer service leaves little to be desired. Definitely not subscribing

Bought the starter plan, decided it didnt fit my services which is ok nothing wrong with lickd itself just needed something else. I inquired via email asking about a refund and I gave all the details and everything explained it all and stated how I had bought the plan within an hour of my email, it's been days and days since my request and I even got a "we're reviewing your request" email. It should not take this long to submit a refund, I run a company myself and it shouldn't 4 days to send over a refund, atleast contact me if something is in the way but noooo. Im still waiting for at minimum a response to my request, horrible support. If you're going to charge people then make sure you have people and procedures to handle them too.

I’ve been using Lickd to license music for my YouTube channel reSPUN, and it’s been a game-changer for staying compliant while still using real, recognizable tracks. The platform is easy to use, the licensing process is straightforward, and the directions for attribution are clear.

One of my favorite features is the integration system, which picks up most songs automatically and helps ensure the licensing details are matched correctly. That alone saves a ton of time and removes a lot of the guesswork creators usually deal with.

I also have to give credit to the Lickd support team. Their staff has been excellent, quick to respond, and genuinely helpful whenever I’ve had a question. It’s rare to find a service that not only works well but also has a team behind it that actually cares.

If you’re a serious creator who wants access to commercial music without risking copyright strikes, Lickd is absolutely worth it.

I was always using Epidemic Sound for my tracks but the subscription cost was high for music from unknown artists. Lickd provides A-List artists at reasonable prices to aquire copyright licensing which in turn increases the quality of your video for your subscribers.

This would be 5 stars if the search function was a little better, such as all the songs you type in appearing at the top of the list. As well as a search function in the claims section.

Apart from that, I am very happy with this service. I have been a subscriber since May 2024. Most claims clear quite quickly, a handful can be troublesome. Such as a company claiming for an entirely different song and resisting every step of the way. Lick'd do seem to try their hardest to resolve issues asap. Sometimes a claim can hit a year later, but this is due to many factors outside of Lick'ds control. They will still clear these for you.

There are lots of songs, but don't expect the likes of Elvis or Michael Jackson, but you may find a cover song at times. The platform gets new songs added often from all decades quite often.

I've seen some say it's a scam, but I promise that it's no such thing. Not from my experience anyway, and I've licensed over 500 songs over 3 channels as of typing this.

The staff are very friendly and quick to respond. I have even had some reach out to me on weekends at times when they're supposed to be closed.

Is good when copyright claims are cleared. But for more of the majority, copyright claims do not clear for premium tracks. They consider that I am making art tracks with a music visualizer. But they are missing the point: the visuals are My Own original creation which I am not getting credit for. The soundtrack song that I pay for to accompany the visuals go hand and hand. So I am discredited completely for My time and works and in service to YouTube when they don’t clear copyright claims from My videos. Is really corrupt, and they (publishers) are full of greed. The main use that I get out of Lickd are their use of royalty tracks by unknown artists which minimizes any views that I get at all for these 2nd rate videos that I produce. I pay a maximum full subscription monthly and only 5 of 15 of My premium tracks pass claims averagely. I am just waiting to get one single One Hit Wonder out of this and really monetize them for all they have. Major Disappointment

Everytime I've licensed a song from Lickd, I've received compliments about it! It can truly eleveate your videos to the next level using well known, popular music. Their automatic claims clearing system has worked great, and anytime I have an issue with a claim needing to be cleared, it almost always gets resolved the same say I submit a ticket request. Couldn't recommend it more!
