Absolutely dreadful experience. Got sold outdoor lights by this lot which were clearly not suitable for outdoors. As soon as there was rain they started rusting and then one of them exploded and caught fire. They have refused to refund or replace and their support department is clearly just sending AI bot responses endlessly. Do not buy from them. They are dangerous products.

Ordered 2 led lights one stop working within 8 months and they won’t swap them and trying to sell parts as only give 6 months warranty basically saying the lights on last 6 months stay away from this company everything is just cheap and then charging expensive

This company has many names pretending it is based in the UK or France or Denmark BUT it is based in CHINA !
Items take a very long time to be posted by general mail in a cheap envelope.
Products are badly assembled and not to BS standards so beware.
Then they go through the discount dance. First offering 20% discount then 40% then 60%

My suggestion is just tell them you will post it back and you get 100% refund.
Just remember the product is cheaply made the company has no ethics or morals .
They would not care if your house burnt to the ground with your family in it.

Having serious concerns over an order that has not arrived and no response from any of the customer service contact details.
How are these companies allowed to trade with such bad consistent reviews?
Do we have to trust pilot every company before making a purchase now!

Took ages to arrive and when they did they were cheep and nasty. Tried to return but no response at all. No address or phone number listed anywhere. Total scam.

Would give o stars if possible. Offered 20% refund on items despite nothing on website advising this.

It looks as though Lightzey has had some problems in the past but my experience was excellent, so maybe they are sorting these out.

I bought 3 lights and they arrived in just a few days. I also asked a question of their customer services and they responded quickly and helpfully.

The only thing you might want to consider is that they're air freighted from China, so maybe not so good for the carbon footprint.

No communication from the point of sale, item cheap tat from China and not trading from Manchester as stated online. No registered company found, paypal statement reads “Tides” as the company. Over 3 weeks delivery, attempted to refuse item and open paypal case which was refused as they advised it was delivered prior to it actually arriving. AVOID.

I have been excuse after excuse why the light didn’t arrive. It was to be for a Christmas present. This company take your money and take ages, if at all, to deliver. I didn’t realise nothing is in stock it all comes from China. They keep changing the delivery date. I guess I’ll have to do battle to get the refund. They don’t tell you on the website how long it is all going to take

I had to get a charge back through my bank as Lightzey would not explain how to return the lampshade I bought. They offered me larger and larger discounts to keep the incredibly poor quality lamp shade they delivered to me. Do not buy from this awful company.

Received my order at last ! Only to find I have to construct it myself. Flimsy and cheap looking. Avoid at all costs.

NB within 4 months of purchase, this light needed the light switch to be twice turned on to work . After 8 months it started flickering and could only give very low light. When I complained I was told I would need to order a new transformer for £45. I should have headed the many negative reviews by others.

Took weeks to arrive.Absolute rip off price for an inferior plastic Chinese item. I would have never ordered if I had known where this was coming from. No where on their website does it mention China imports... would have got better quality in Dunelm...avoid at all cost

Do not use this company.The products are shipped in from countries which produce cheap products. Struggling to get my money back. DO NOT USE!!

Purchased over a thousand pounds worth of fittings. They are all gradually going wrong. Every time trying to get replacements is basically impossible. They are argue back as forwards and say the wiring is incorrect. However it is not as I am an electrician. They now say they are only guaranteed for SIX months. They want me to send £50 for replacement parts.Quality is poor and at a premium price. Disgraceful company. If it wasn’t so bad it would be funny.

Ich kann nur von diesem Shop warnen, ich habe Wochenlang auf eine Lieferung gewartet dann kam nur ein Teil dann habe ich den Rest storniert dieses Produkt versucht zurückzuschicken warte bis heute noch auf mein Geld dies ist schon etliche Wochen her ich kann diesen Shop absolut nicht empfehlen. Kontaktaufnahme fast unmöglich Telefonisch niemand zu erreichen.Achtung!!! Finger weg von diesem Shop.

Lights Tripped the fusebox after just 3 months of fitting. Faulty drivers burned out and company refused to do anything as their policy is 6 months from purchase date. Customer service is rubbish / non existent reiterating policy of 6 months . These are not complying with UK laws and goods ARE NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE . No offer to assist replace or replace drivers- Obviously poor quality items which is a shame as I've purchase other items and been fine. Costly exercise . AVOID

These lights come from china - the slow boat from China . Do not believe any delivery times stated lights take at least a month- 6 weeks to arrive,

Avoid at all costs, company is not from the U.K. and sells cheap lights from China that do not comply with British standards. When you request to return the goods they offer you a discount, they do not provide a returns address and then they stop answering any request for a refund. They will never refund you.

I always check Trustpilot before ordering anything, however on this one occasion I didn't. I felt sick seeing all the reviews on Lightzey. The next day I tried cancelling my order but was told that I could only cancel once delivered and get a refund.
My lights arrived on time and got fitted yesterday, the only problem was that the QR code for instructions didn't work so I emailed Lightzey yesterday. Today I got new instructions over email and my lights are paired and working using the remote.
My experience has been a good one in the end and I do rate them and am pleased I ordered them.
