I absolutely loved my program at Lionrock. Everyone was wonderful and helpful. I had honestly dreaded the thought of group meetings but I will say they were the best part of the whole program. It really is a blessing.

Lionrock brought me back to life! The counselor's and all the people I had the pleasure of meeting and interacting with helped me to open up my eyes and to see all the positive and beautiful people, places, possibilities and things that await me. And, I don't need alcohol to obtain them. I have the smile back on my face, the laughter in my heart and the love, forgiveness and blessings of my loved ones back. Thank you Lionrock!

LionRock saved my life. I had tried another local recovery program without success, and was reluctant to try again. But their trusted counselors, amazing groups and follow up offerings have supported me through one of the toughest times in my life - and 500+ days of sobriety. Lion Rock was absolutely wonderful and helpful. It was amazing to find so many people from all areas of the country and all areas of life that struggled with addiction like myself. Prior to Lion Rock I felt so alone. I learned a ton of new things I didn’t know and techniques to help me stay sober. My counselor Leo was amazing! Also, the financial end was great! They worked with me and my insurance and just let me focus on getting better.

1. With 2 days remaining group leader did not allow me to give my final presentation. I forced myself into the group to give my lesson. 2. At night I called another patient because I had not slept for 3 days. Other patient reported falsely that I relapsed to drinking. Group leader believed her and reported me to my counselor who was quiet during our next meeting saying very little. 3. Lionrock has not responded to my letter for more info for Medicare in violation of federal law.

I had an outstanding experience and I'm still sober - almost 10 months now. My life is more wonderful than I ever could've imagined and I am finally sober and feeling so solid in my recovery.

I began my recovery journey with Lionrock in 03/2019 following a 10+ year battle with alcoholism. My experience with Lionrock was nothing less than amazing. From my intake call to my final group meeting, I felt the Lionrock team truly cared about me and my recovery.
I am rapidly approaching two years of sobriety. I am certain that it would not have been possible without the Lionrock team and the resources they equipped me with for continued success.

I had an amazing experience and plenty of support. I have been sober two years in March. Amazing staff!

I had two of the best therapists I’ve ever had (one for group and one for individual) to help me with my addiction to alcohol.

The ongoing group therapy was extremely important in maintaining my long-term sobriety, and it was something which I could not obtain locally. It was comparable to the treatment I received at a world-renowned inpatient treatment center, except this was done over the internet in my own home. Locally, I did attend a lot of AA meetings and did a lot of work with my sponsor, but Lionrock is completely different.

The one negative part was that there was higher turnover of clients in the group than I would have liked. Hard to keep a therapeutic setting going when there is too much turnover.

I have finally achieved long-term sobriety, and I give a lot of credit to Lionrock.

My therapist was very understanding and it was a great overall experience!

I was hesitant about getting into treatment, the outreach person was kind and persistent and I am now grateful for that. My individual and group therapists really worked with me in developing a program that met my needs and schedule. I developed great relationships with both women; both were extraordinary. I admit that I gave my individual therapists a hard time, yet she remained patient and kind . I am so very grateful to Cynthia and Joanna for their guidance and support. Oh and the groups were fabulous! It was great meeting people like me from all over the world!
After struggling with alcohol for much of my adult life , I am happy to say that I am 1 year and 6 months sober. I love my sober life!

LionRock was exactly what I needed when I needed it. I went away for treatment but came back to a rural environment and friends I could not really open up to. There wasn’t much in the way of AA much less NA/MA and word could quickly get back to work regardless of how anonymous meetings are supposed to be.

LionRock was a safe space where I actually made friends, three of which I keep in touch with even after the program ended. That’s the best part, meeting people from across the country who are similar rather than struggling with what/who is available locally. (Especially now with Covid.)

Plus the program made more sense to me than 12 Step programs. I liked the assignments which were an extension of the work done in in patient treatment. You are presented with scientific information about medical and psychological reasons behind addiction and asked to write why you are like you are; your history, your current thoughts, and what you want for the future. It’s more in-depth and helpful than sharing coffee, cookies and stories in AA. Plus you gave a work product you can refer to when you need a tune up later.

I highly recommend LionRock. I was in and out of AA / NA / MA for 30 years and it never stuck. I’ve been clean for 17 months this time as a result of LionRock and the continuing support from the friends I made there.

I am so grateful to have found Lionrock on my recovery journey!!! My experience with the group meetings and my one on one counciling was the best I have ever received. If you are ready to change your life, this is best support and encouragement you will find.

If your thinking you might need some help. It’s certain that you do. If you are fortunate enough to to have come across Lionrock Recovery in your online search. Count yourself as extremely lucky. This is how I found Lionrock. I initially went voluntarily and very soon after I was court ordered for a program. Lionrock was perfect for me. And the court agreed that Lionrock was sufficient to satisfy their requirements. As it turns out Lionrock was the first good and sound decision I had made in many years. The staff are caring, nurturing, encouraging and understanding. They were everything I needed for my recovery. At first I wasn’t certain but after discussion with my counselor and management we made some adjustments and I spent the next year going to group 3 times a week and spending an hour a week one on one. I am still sober a year and a half after enrolling to their program. I am grateful for them. Online groups are just as personal and intimate as any other setting. I would even say that it is better because you have the added benefit of the added comfort of your home. I’m cutting this review short because I could go on forever raving about my experience and feel I will if I don’t stop here. It works. You’ll love it.
Also one last word. Ginnie Papen headed up the group I was in. She was the most supportive and knowledgeable person I have ever met regarding this subject matter and I would like to give her some large portion of the credit for teaching me and my new friends about addiction and sobriety. I will use the tools taught by her at Lionrock for the rest of my life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

A fantastic program that can work around anyone’s schedule. I came into this recovery program reluctant that it would work because I’m a flight attendant with a very odd schedule but they worked with me and the virtual aspect really helped as well. I’ve been sober for over 2 years now and really think the foundation I gained from LionRock has been a huge factor in my recovery. Definitely very grateful to them!

Lion rock is the best thing and the best choice I made. I would recommend this to all that need support
