Would thoroughly recommend staying at Littlepolgrains if you’re looking for a quiet but interesting holiday. My husband and I stayed there recently - the accommodation was tastefully decorated, very comfortable and well-equipped. Littlepolgrains is a 15 minute walk to Port Holland, a lovely little bay. From there we went on a beautiful coastal walk to Caerhays Castle with its stunning gardens. It is also a short distance away by car from the Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the picturesque harbour of Mevagissey. We also drove to St Ives which is only an hour away and enjoyed visiting the Tate. We didn’t take our dogs but Zoe and Andy, the very friendly and hospitable owners, said they would have been very welcome and we spotted that they had a dog shower outside! We look forward to staying there again.

We had a relaxing week staying here. It’s rural, very quiet, and only a short walk from the sea.

Everything was ready when we arrived and our hosts Zoe and Andy were very friendly. Zoe showed us in and made sure we knew where everything was. The bedrooms had comfortable beds, the kitchen was well equipped, and we enjoyed the real fire in the sitting room. Although we didn’t watch it much, there was a nice big tv screen with Freesat and Netflix too.

Thoroughly recommend staying here. You can walk down to the coast from the door, and it’s only a short drive to the Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, St Austell or Mevagissey.

Will definitely book again!
