Testing a sofa in store no guarantee of comfort of that delivered
Despite going to the Guildford store to check comfort of sofas, it was no guarantee of the comfort of that delivered. What was delivered was very hard indeed, but we thought the seat would soften with use, so persevered. Not only hasn't it softened with use, one can now feel the springs! it has been a very expensive mistake, A complete waste of money. As the sofa was delivered back in April last year we can't have it returned.
Update. Following a direct email by my daughter, who had bought this sofa for me, Loaf's "engineer" came today to look at the sofa. As soon as he removed the seat cover It was obvious why it was so uncomfortable. There are three very hard channels caused by the folding and stitching of fabric running right across the seat cushion! However this, apparently, is not considered a fault! I refused to accept this as we had experienced no such discomfort when we tested, and then ordered what we expected to be the same model. Given that comfort is essential for a sofa, I consider this either a design fault or a manufacturing fault. My old IKEA sofa, after 6 years wear, was more comfortable than this £1,000+ sofa. Needless to say I am not impressed with this company's manufacturing standards if this level of discomfort caused by either design or manufacture, is not considered a fault.
Further update. Have now been informed that Loaf make nothing, just subcontract to various companies, so the "love seat" we received may not even been made by same company as one we tried in Guildford store, especially as delivery was delayed by several weeks.

Chloe was excellent
Chloe was excellent, really helpful and knowledgeable about the products and prices.
It would be great to see all of the products in the showroom. That said, the computer was easy to use to look up the product we wanted and the swatches were really useful too.

Excellent efficient service
We bought a bed and matching furniture from Loaf Guildford. The staff were not at all pushy but were available and extremely helpful when needed. They went through all of the options regarding delivery and collection of our own bed. Everything went vert smoothly and we look forward to receiving our new bed soon.

Love the loaf shacks
Love the loaf shacks. The furniture is easy to try and the fabrics are all available to see in huge samples. Like the helpful F&B paint plates so you can colour match/contrast and the staff are friendly and helpful. When his sofa testing work was done my bored kid got to play on the retro electronic game table... and enjoyed a free bottle of water from the fridge and helped himself to a pencil . It's always a nice experience and the products are great; we have many.

Great service and gorgeous sofa
We knew the sofa bed we wanted, so I called up in advance to see if it was in the Guildford store. Although the one we wanted to see wasn't going to be there, they were able to advise of what was there which would enable us to make the decision of whether to purchase or not.
In the store, Tabitha was very helpful, showing us the sofa and the mechanism for the sofa bed in an alternative style. They explained all the swatches etc and we ended up buying the sofa there and then.
Looking forward now to its delivery, thank you Loaf!

Great experience
Great experience, we never felt pressured to buy. Seren was very helpful and made a few suggestions and was happy to answer any of our questions. We tested out so many different fabric swatches and. Cushion combinations but never felt rushed.
