Well organised reasonable price & good trip. Our 1st time

We booked a Norwegian Fjords cruise with Ambassador through Loch Lomond Travel. Leaving from Dundee. We booked a balcony suite which meant we had priority boarding at 1.30
Our original pick up time was 10am which would mean our arrival was consistent with the boarding time.
Two or three days before the trip I got an email changing the pick up time to 1.45, meaning arrival in Dundee would be around 4 pm. When I queried this and complained I would miss the priority boarding I had paid for, I was fobbed off and told, “ well we can make sure you’re first off the bus”. We weren’t even on the first bus! In fact our bus didn’t leave till almost 2.30! And there was no effort made to get us first off. We eventually embarked at 4.45pm. Another point was that Loch Lomond allocated us the second sitting for dinner, unasked. We only found out once we were on board, and told it can only be changed before you board? The cruise was great but the communication and concern shown by Loch Lomond was very poor.

Great value trip and our driver was lovely. I think communication with times etc could be better. There was no information given on return times when booking nor once we arrived. Relying on word of mouth from other guests is not ideal. The hotel wasn't the best but I didn't expect much for the price. Overall it was a good experience.

First Solo experience and felt totally safe and comfortable. Will do this again. Bus ran on schedule and was clean

Great trip. Beautiful scenery. Our driver was excellent & couldn't be faulted. Would have benefited from a tour guide or online narrative to identify lochs, mountains and other points of interest. Aware this would add to holiday cost but would be worth it. Accommodation was much better than expected for the cost. Lots if time necessarily spent on the bus to cover the route which was OK for us but might not suit everyone.

Our Oban, Mull & Ardishaig trip was excellent. The driver Vince was a great guy, sharing lots of relevant information through the day.
We stayed at the Grey Gull Hotel in Ardishaig, it has new owners, who done their best to accommodate a large group. Rooms clean, great views, food fab, just the location was a tad remote.
If we had our accommodation in Oban, I think it would have tripped the trip to 5 star, as less travel and more to do once returned from our travels.
Loved our visit to Inveraray, Tobermory and Luss, great weekend.

Great trip. Booking process was easy. Coach was fine and comfy. Driver Ethan was brilliant super friendly, funny and very informative. Oban was great and just enough time there. Hotel was fine and clean and meals were good. Trip to get train at Ft William was stunning and train to Mallaig was excellent. All in all a great trip and roll on the next one in a weeks time. Would definitely recommend.

That’s us done 3 day trips now with loch lommond travel absolutely fantastic driver always makes you feel safe great customer service.. fantastic value for money highly recommended get your self on a trip well worth it and great company

Wanted to charge 75% of what we paid when we asked if we could get a refund after we were advised that we would not be getting the original buffet lunch that we paid for, but a cream tea at a location that wasnt included in the original booking - the 'generous buffet' was replaced by 1 scone, which they advised was an upgrade
Bus wasnt clean with distinct smell from toilet -so bad that another customer bought an air freshener
Confusion over comfort stops
Original pick up driver and final drop off driver never spoke to anyone and elderly customers were left scrambling in the hold for their luggage
On our return I wrote to complain and just got a rehash of what I was advised when trying to cancel, and that the drivers would be spoken to
Not good enough so wont be on any further trips with them

We had a trip to Oban yesterday, via Inverary and it was a wonderful time. Our driver Jimmy was very polite and courteous. He kept us safe on the roads and kept us informed along the way. The coach was quite new and comfortable to ride on. My wife has completed many Loch Lomond Travel trips, but this was my first one and I thoroughly enjoyed it. One small item I would add is the possibility of a pick up point being instigated at Kinross P+R. Looking forward to our next day out

The driver was absolutely excellent his manners was outstanding and very helpful to everyone travelling to and from the concert.

Great driver got us to deacon blue concert in plenty of time and was very friendly since then I have booked Bon Jovi Murrayfield for 2 people and Calvin Harris at Hampden for 4 adults would really recommend this company

Coach and driver good at the Adelphi Hotel room was ok however evening meal if you like roast turkey every 2nd day you will be ok! Meals were very poor, over cooked roast potatoes, beef and chicken pie had very thin pastry, salad but no ham to go with it.

Loch lomond day trip from Ayr to North Berwick & Dunbar was an excellent wee day trip. Landed lucky with the weather. Driver was excellent, coach comfortable and clean. Information sharing was good. Great value for money. Can't fault this trip. North Berwick is a lovely town with plenty to see and do. Dunbar is much quieter with lovely wee harbour.

The mystery tour was great value for money. We ended up at 3 destinations . The driver was lovely and helpful.

Very disappointed with this coach tour company. Our 3-day trip to Thorpe Park has been cancelled on two occasions during the school holidays, leaving children extremely upset after looking forward to it for weeks.

I understand that cancellations can happen, but having the same trip cancelled twice is unacceptable and shows a lack of reliability and organisation. Families make plans and book time off based on these trips.

After being let down on two occasions, I would not book with this company again and cannot recommend them to others.

I contacted lomond coach travel company in Glasgow this morning l spoke to Elliott who was pleasant polite and professional to make a booking for Brugees September the 10th l had some difficulty obtaining an inside cabin as none were available but Elliott contacted the appropriate company and was able to get me an outside cabin its having staff like Elliott it makes all the difference he is a great asset to the team and company much appreciated thank you.Meldah. Bus tour to lovely York. We stayed at the Wheatland Hotel , staff friendly and welcoming. Excellent Food the best I have ever had on bus tours. Great to see Whitby back on day trips. A thanks to Louise our excellent driver. Wonderful trip if you haven't been to York put it on your list . Margaret Barrie

The trip to Chester and Liverpool was great. Although we didn't rexeice a full itinerary of events beforehand which would have been helpful. As we didnt go to the Cavern Club on arrical at our hotel as we thought that we wouldnstop there on the guided tour after ferry trip but sadly we didnt which was one of the main features we wanted to see. So perhaps this could be made clearr or revised . Maybe even do chester on way back home on Monday instead of way down and go strato Liverpool and do a longer tour around city on Sunday..The stay at hotel was pleasant food was good but limited choice at dinner.
