This is a review for Marcin Wach of Lockfit Bury St. Edmunds.

We returned from holiday at around 10.30pm on the eve of a public holiday. We discovered that we’d left the wrong front door key in the lock safe so were unable to unlock our door on our return.

We phoned a couple of local 24 hour emergency locksmiths only to get an answerphone message - great!

We looked a little further and discovered Marcin - he answered the phone immediately and said he would be with us in 45 mins. He arrived exactly when he said he would. He just got on in a highly professional manner and soon had the lock picked and us in the warm in no time.

We cannot thank Marcin enough for his assistance - he’s now on speed dial should we need him again. Highly recommended for sure.

Petrut from Lockfit London was a rockstar. He did an excellent job replacing a lock and door which had been busted in an attempted break in, working diligently for several hours starting around 9pm on a Saturday night. He was very reassuring and calm in a stressful situation, and we would highly recommend him for future services.

Excellent service with Martin in the Bury St Edmunds area. Arrived within the hour to repair a faulty door handle/lock. Very polite and had the door working as normal within the hour. Would recommend!

My wife locked herself out of our home without a key. She called LockFit Beckenham - a 'Checkatrade' organisation. The attending 'locksmith' drilled out and replaced the lock. We are now unable to open the door from either the inside or the outside. When raising the problem with LockFit Beckenham - with a view to them revisiting our home to correct the fault - we were accused of lying about the cause of the problem, i.e. LockFit Beckenham suggested the door was faulty and the fact that it was now not working had nothing to do with their 'repair'. An unfortunate response and clear indication that LockFit Beckenham's service assurances are disingenuous. We are now left with a door that does not open. To avoid the same outcome, we would urge people, in a similar predicament, to avoid this company.

I recently called Alex from Lockfit, based in North Finchley. He came out within about an hour of my calling. Alex was polite, spoke well, and was good-natured.
He dealt with the issue quickly. The lock was replaced with an Ulton branded one. Pleased with the service offered. Would recommend.

Daniel (Worcester) did an absolutely amazing job fixing the lock on our front door. What was most impressive though was the effort he went to find the particular locking mechanism required, which was no longer produced by the original manufacturers. Undaunted, Daniel took it upon himself to make a number of calls and enquiries, and eventually found one! I am absolutely chuffed to bits with the result and very relieved to not have to pay out for a new door. I would 100% recommend Lockfit to anyone. Thankyou Daniel!

I got a lock repaired from Dan (Daniel Lacey) in Milton Keynes a few weeks ago & asked him to send me an invoice for the work but he said he will send a receipt after I make the payment which I did immediately & since then he has neither provided an invoice nor a receipt & he has been ignoring my msgs since then.
He verbally told me that his work is guaranteed for 1 year but there is no way to prove that if I don't have the receipt.

I had an excellent experience with Alex, the locksmith. He was prompt, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. My door mechanism was completely locked, and I couldn’t get inside. Alex arrived quickly, opened the door, and went above and beyond by changing the lock to ensure my safety. He was professional and genuinely cared about the situation. Highly recommend his services!

I was sooo impressed with Steve (Lockfit, Aylesbury). He was polite, conscientious and efficient and took his time to explain what had gone wrong with our front door lock before making a plan of action. He could easily have tried to make more money by telling us we needed a new lock, but rather than do that he took the old one apart twice and put it together again with a new part that worked brilliantly.
I highly recommend Steve to anyone searching for a locksmith.
