Lockfit Burntwood-Needed help on the day for a front door lock issue- needn't have worried 15 mins later Lockfit arrived along with trainee's (great to see) and solved the problem with new a new lock, Brilliant service, great work ethic, and competetively priced - would recomend anytime and use anytime - top organisation.

I found myself in a pickle when I stepped out and heard the door slam behind me leaving just me stood in sweats and socks and literally nothing else. Had to borrow a phone to call numerous avenues to open the door all of which came to nothing until I called LockFit. Can't remember the chap's name but he was there in 30 minutes and like an absolute legend just popped the door right open when I even have trouble with the actual key myself. No time wasting, top notch service and highly recommend.

Used LockFit Gloucester to change my locks after I lost my keys. Sam arrived in 20 minutes, did the job quickly and charged a fair price.

Patio door handle snapped early morning. Contacted Lockfit via Whatsapp and agreed appointment timing, regular comms throughout. Quick, efficient and friendly service.

Patio door wouldn't lock, so was held closed with a bungee chord. Alastair came, identified I didn't need new locks, just the alignment on the doors needing adjusting, so not as expensive as I had feared!
Also fixed front door on way out as he said it was sticking! Top job, heartily recommend.

Highly rate lockfit. Steve from Aylesbury was so helpful and professional and came out late on a Friday night within 20 minutes as our lock had failed. He fixed it in no time despite it being a pretty complex job where the internal mechanism had failed and the door had dropped out of alignment. He had all the parts in his van to sort the issue. He was absolutely brilliant and explained what the issue was and I was very happy with the price I paid. 5 stars from me - definitely use these guys :)

I found myself in the position of my house keys locked in my car boot several miles away. LockFit came up top on a local locksmith search. I first spoke to Kevin who wasn't available but contacted another colleague, Paul, for me. Paul called me back whilst I was making my way home. He arrived within 30 minutes and sorted the lock in a matter of a few. Polite, Professional and a Gentleman. Would certainly use again !

We recently called out Steve (North Derbyshire) when our front door lock failed. Excellent service… he added our call at the end of the day, made a temporary fix and then added us at the end of the following day to complete the job with the parts he had to order. He came when he said he would, he worked quickly and cleared up afterwards, he was courteous and professional… thanks Steve.

Booked to replace a lock on an exterior door. Adrian (Lockfit-Walsall) was prompt, professional and worked efficiently and quickly. Lovely person, helpful and informative. Very satisfied customer.

In July 2021 I engaged the services of David MItchell who was looking after the Hemel/Chesham area. Nice chap and good reviews on the website. By October most of the locks/latches had issues – either it completely came off or the screws came lose. Mid October Dave agreed to come back and make do the issues – some repairs were done however on closer inspection different types of screws were used on the same door and still some where missing. Following that the front door lock started failing, it was jamming and I contacted Dave again . After initially stating that he would come he has not and even with repeated reminders he has not turned up. Now the lock is completely broken and we can't get in and out. Now I have been told that David Mitchell no longer works in this area and I cannot contact him. Which means I am going to pay to get the door fixed. He promised when he was here that everything was covered under warranty. I feel cheated and really let down. The back door has had to be reassessed and it has been fitted with a lock that will not covered by insurance. I do hope you will be able to find a solution for me. If you need an email trail of my communication with David – I am happy to do so. I also have pictures which I sent David.

I felt that what I was charged was expensive, based on how much I could have purchased a genuine part for and the time to job took to complete.

The price was quoted while the door was in pieces so I had little choice.

On their website it assures you they will provide a clear breakdown of charges, which I have asked for several times and have not materialised.

The standard of work is good, I personally wouldn’t use again, sorry.

Over priced and daylight robbery. Ken was referred by one of my friends. He agreed and came on time. He looked into the issue and identified that "Door Lock Gearbox" need to be replaced for which the he quoted that cost of the part would be 95 and service charge would be 75. I trusted him (as he was being referred by my friend) and asked him to replace the part. He replaced the part, shared account details and asked me to make the payment. I have looked in online and the part from original seller is 34.25 GBP, though it's cheaper at Amazon. I messaged Ken and asked why he charged this much on parts and his answer is "Of course I have to make someone money after taxes and franchise fee I only make about £25 profit from parts". So unprofessional answer and didn't expect this from him.
I trusted Ken and I deserve this (probably a Christmas gift :-)).

Had problems with our upvc front door lock, on Christmas day! We unable fix but got it locked. Messaged Sam@ Lockfit. Response was very quick & with details & photos he explained issues & quoted the job. As we secured door thankfully didn't need immediate call out but he came this morning ( boxing day ). Lovely guy, very professional & solved issue very quickly, he thoroughly explained problem to me. Was covid friendly & wore mask, as did I & wore shoe covers. Price I paid was very reasonable for a professional service & on boxing day too. Highly recommend.

I had a broken back door and was told by several companies I needed a new back door. Called David at 2pm and he arrived at 5pm, he did everything to fix the door and he did, he went above and beyond to get it to latch and lock even though I just wanted it locked. He was very professional, very nice and polite. He literally saved me and my family as we couldn't secure our back door and wouldn't have been able to buy a new back door this close to Xmas

We had recently had our car stolen which prompted a rethink on our home security including door locks. The advice about which ones to get was really useful and helped us make an informed decision. Can't recommend LockFit enough, the best value locksmiths around. Much cheaper than ones we have used before.
