Excellent and professional service—quick response, great workmanship, and I highly recommend this locksmith!

Matthew is someone I would recommend wholeheartedly. He responded extremely quickly to my request for a visit and a quote for replacing four existing lock cylinders for a better quality, more secure option.
Service was fast and within a couple of days the locks have been fitted and the door fit and handle and operation also checked out and corrected . He's now on my list of reliable tradesmen I will use again as needed.

Terry (Napier) identified the problem with our Yale electronic lock which had been badly installed a week earlier by another locksmith. He installed a new lock at a fraction of the cost of the former locksmith and offered to challenge the previous locksmith company to see if he could get me a refund. Excellent service.

Colin provided excellent service and came to my assistance when I was in a difficult situation. After I first contacted him, he promptly called to provide an estimated time of arrival. During his initial visit, he was unfortunately unable to fully repair the lock, but he ensured the door was properly closed and secured before leaving.

Being unable to lock a uPVC French door, I called LockRite and was visited by a locksmith the same day. He stripped, cleaned and lubricated the locking mechanism, flushing out detritus that had probably been accumulating for 20+ years. He left the mechanism working properly and called me a few days later to check that it was still OK, which it was. This was very impressive service at a reasonable price and I highly recommendLockRite

20:00 on Thursday and our front door lock "froze" and we couldn't lock the door. Lockrite was my third attempt to find someone to come out and fix it. Matthew answered the call and did a bit of diagnosis. As it was potentially a gearbox fault he advised that he did not carry that particular one. I jury rigged the door for the night.

I got a text the next day Matthew asking if I still needed someone to attend which I confirmed. Matthew arrived at the stated time and discovered that the cylinder had seized which is apparently quite rare. After discussion we made the decision to replace both the front and back door cylinders (doors are the same age) as a precaution. Matthew did an excellent job and even gave the doors a "service".

Another locksmith charged me a diagnostic fee and quoted a very high repair cost. Cliffe came promptly, investigated for free, and provided a much more cost-effective solution. He saved me a lot of money.
