The Loki family is something we have enjoyed for over 6 years now. To begin with just popping in with work friends for drinks, able to taste wonderful wine from the machines for a near unique drinks experience. From there it has developed as they have expanded both geographically and in their selection of things served (‘sold’ does not do the experience justice). Our Engagement drinks had no other venue on the cards and our wedding wine was/is (when our Covid delayed wedding comes around) a no-brainer to get from here. No selling the most expensive wine for the sake of it, all focus aimed at sensible choices based on your menu and budget.
A favourite past-time is going in and saying a random description for what you are in the mood for and enjoying the result. Never snooty and always determined to give you the best possible service. We now genuinely enjoy going in and seeing the staff as well as the wine.
The remote wine tasting has been a life-saver during Covid and a real relief to see this vital part of Birmingham life seeing off such a massively destructive challenge.

Very friendly, excellent service, honest advice, and some excellent wines. You should certainly give them a try.

We decided to jazz up our Saturday evenings with online wine tastings with Loki Wines, and we are so glad we did. We have now done 2 and have more booked.

We learnt a lot about the wines and the accompanying cheeses and had lots of fun on the way. The team are so knowledgeable: Phil, Vic, Paul - all know their wines inside out. The Master of Wines at each event are also very engaging and interesting.

If you're looking for something to look forward to at the weekend, we would recommend these. Great fun, great value, very interesting.

In a world where staying in is the new going out, this was a lovely experience with delicious wines and cheeses and a panel of knowledgeable and friendly hosts. Delivery was quick - a couple days beforehand, and of great quality. We bought the tasting with our neighbors as a birthday treat for one of them and split everything before the tasting. This worked well and made the experience quite reasonably priced. My only reservation and the lack of 5 stars is that we had hoped for a slightly more personal and intimate feel to the tasting (perhaps 20 or so people?)...so to find over 200 other cameras on (and at least 400+ people) it was somewhat overwhelming!. Still, we enjoyed the experience and I am glad that the event is accessible and so popular as it helps to support this wonderful local business. I would certainly be happy to attend another event in the future.

The best lockdown online social by far. Discover new wines from all over the world in an informative yet entertaining atmosphere. Stick till the end and you might even get a guitar solo by Paul! :D

The virtual wine tasting session are brilliant, always very educational and entertaining. It has been something that we look forward to most weeks, and really helped to break up the lockdown mundane. Could not recommend more if you’re interested to try different wines, or just get a bit tipsy on a Saturday evening 🍷 Plus, there’s cheese!

Loki gave us a great evening of wine tasting and food pairing (cheese) They gave the right balance of knowledge without being condescending, combined with humour. I would THOROUGHLY recommend them and am looking to book again!

We booked the NZ wine and cheese virtual tasting event. We are far from being wine connoisseurs but learnt a lot and it was very interesting.

The guests made it interactive with Q&A’s and their knowledge was exceptional, it was a brilliant night all around.

We have participated in quite a few of the online wine & cheese tastings from Loki wines, it’s become a highlight of our lockdown. Fantastic wines and cheese, knowledgeable hosts with special guests and all done in a fun, relaxed but informative manner. We love it!

Since the national lockdown began in March 2020, we have joined the weekly wine tastings hosted by Loki. It has been a super experience, learning about all different types of wine, particularly those which I wouldn’t normally choose or, know anything about. It is really informative, good fun with a great, knowledgeable team. We have really appreciated all of the guest speakers and the variety of wines supplied. It has given the weekends a real boost in what can feel like a really monotonous time of lockdown. Thank you Team Loki for providing an excellent service and long may it continue!

Loki have kept our household entertained through all 3 lockdowns with their virtual wine tastings, and on many a Saturday night pre-Covid. Fantastic, knowledgeable staff who are also great fun, and a brilliant wine selection to boot.

I have not visited the Birmingham stores, but have ordered online several times, especially the very good value online wine tastings (for which the wines have all been delivered promptly to me in London in good time before the tasting date). Thoroughly recommend, they are a friendly and knowledgeable crew.

We have done many of the virtual wine events over the last year, really excellent - I would recommend to everyone and have recommended to many already - great value, lovely wines and recommend with cheese if you can. A really enjoyable evening. Well organised and delivery is very efficient.
