I recently completed the Elite DJ course at LSA, and I cannot speak highly enough of my experience, especially thanks to my instructor, Olmo.

His teaching style is incredibly clear, patient, and structured, and he has a unique ability to break down advanced concepts in a way that feels approachable rather than overwhelming.

Olmo guided me through every stage of the process with professionalism and genuine care. He pushed me creatively, helped refine my technique, and introduced me to FX approaches, transitions, and workflow habits that immediately improved the quality of my sets.
His feedback was always constructive, detailed and thoughtful, and I felt genuinely supported throughout the entire journey. I walked into the course feeling unsure and I finished it feeling confident, capable and inspired.

If you’re thinking about taking the Elite course, especially with Olmo, I wholeheartedly recommend it. It was a truly transformative experience.

I started my DJ journey from absolute beginner in September 2025. Since then I have completed the Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced DJ courses and the club course. I am one lesson away from graduating from the Elite program and I am (very) slowly making my way through the vinyl course. I also did the Introduction to Production course.

If it was possible to give 6 stars I would.

The team at LSA have been nothing short of amazing. I’ve had exposure to many of the them through my courses and learnt so much, and also got different perspectives from each of them. Erin took me through pretty much all my intermediate and advanced and I don’t think I would have progressed anywhere near as quickly if he hadn’t made such an effort to understand my learning style and help direct me (while letting me “steer”, so to speak) to finding my own DJ style.

Kieran, Ben and Tak have all been extraordinary in the various lessons I have had with them, particularly in the Elite course where I’ve been pushed to be creative but also to push the boundaries of what’s possible with the technology. I also had a one off lesson with Sophie which was so interesting to get the “techno perspective”.

Antonio, who quietly and calmly keeps everything on track even when the system doesn’t do what it should, is an absolute star.

And finally kudos to Buster for creating such an amazing place, but also an excellent tutor in his own right.

If you’re thinking of learning to DJ here, you can’t go wrong. And apologies for anyone I have overlooked.

Learning in an advanced DJing course with SOPHIE as my tutor has been an amazing experience!
Every question I asked was answered with patience and care the explanations were always clear and very helpful، Now my confidence has grown so much!

The best adult decision I’ve ever made. I only competed my beginners course a month ago and I’ve already played events. I’ve learned so quickly because of the theory and practical they’ve taught me. As soon as I finished my beginners I booked my intermediate course and will complete every course they offer because I’m confident that they’ll play a big role into me becoming an established artist.

From not even knowing how to turn the decks on to getting booked to play out and asked to come back again, for years I’ve wanted to learn how to dj but never actually started or known how to, one evening I was on my phone and I came across LSA and I liked the look of there website and what the courses offered and the possibility of playing at a club in the future, so I booked my beginners level 1 and done this at my own pace and at the end of this I started to understand rekordbox better and how to download tracks and beat match, going onto level
2 I brought my own rx3 controller for indoors and this helped me massively learn whilst at home what I have been taught in my lessons, bookings started to come in by connecting with friends that play out a lot and speaking with LSA they help push me in the right directions, level two and time spent at home really helped me understand what it is the decks do and the importance of mixing in phrase, whilst always taking a look at rekordbox and going over where I need to pick up on my knowledge, quite quickly I was able to download a track on to a usb, knowing that when I was out all my cue points and memory points would really help me get the best out of my transitions and ultimately my sets. Level 3 blew my mind because we went over everything we had learn over the 6 months it took me to get to this point and this was only because I have a baby on the way and I have a busy work schedule, but ultimately LSA works around me and my life which made it so so easy and I missed a couple of lessons but with enough notice they helped me work it out with no problems, after level 3 I would say that I am now club ready and learning each and every day at home and I’m now thinking like a dj. All instructors that I had really do take their time to help you from the ground up, and they have been doing this for multiple years and they have a way of explaining things that make sense to me, none of my friends could do this, I didn’t feel any egos or anything like that just a passion to help me and show me support, I’ve now got my certification for passing my level 3 and I’ve been added to their Facebook page and will be playing out in a club like ministry of sound or alike very soon, buster and he’s team are absolutely amazing, and the studio is very clean and upto date, for the little money I spent I got so much back, thank you LSA I cannot wait to start my elite course in the near future when baby is here and settled and also production, see you all soon

I had an incredible experience at London Sound Academy during my almost 1 year course. I have had a diverse group of tutors, including Claudia, DJ Massive, Matt, Sam and Takahiko. Each of them brought their unique perspectives that enriched my studies and for me personally having all of these brilliant guys was a perfect solution to cover all possible grounds of educational process. The course was not only enjoyable, but it also provided a deep dive into technical aspects of knowing the decks, transitions, effects, software etc enhancing my skills significantly. The one-to-one sessions were manicured to my specific needs and yet followed the curriculum, which makes it a personalised and dedicated approach that made the learning experience truly exceptional. On top of this, LSA is stunningly beautiful, amazingly well equipped and super friendly. It truly felt like coming to a family home where everyone and everything caters for the passion for Music.

I had a great experience learning advanced DJing skills with Marc as my tutor. His comprehensive knowledge of Rekordbox and DJing allowed me to master advanced features like Hot Cues and Loops.

Marc's coaching on techniques helped me improve my performances, and helped me to integrating effects into my mix. I also got guidance on how to handling club environments and me transition between DJs.

I truly appreciated Marc's patience and tailored approach to my learning. He made sure I understood every button and function of the equipment, boosting my confidence during performances.

Recording a creative mix under Marc's guidance was a highlight, and his final report provided valuable insights for improvement. I highly recommend Marc as a tutor for DJs seeking to elevate their skills and perform confidently in club settings. Thank you, Marc, for the outstanding mentorship!

Can't speak highly enough of the team and courses at LSA. Olmo has taken me from a basically competent DJ to someone who feels very confident and technically sound behind the decks. I've done Intermediate and Advance DJ courses with LSA and can't wait to get started on production!

Just had my first lesson with Takahiko and absolutely loved it. Such a lovely patient guy, he explained everything so brilliantly and just took it step by step. I feel like I learned so much in just one lesson. Can't recommend these guys enough

LSA and the Elite DJ course it was a fantastic experience with awesome tutors and they make you feel at home.
Now I have more confidence to play with 3 CDJs and create more mashups, I also have more clarity on how I can connect the synthesizer to the mixer and go from playing a simple set with two CDJs to a more professional set.
Special thanks to my tutor Olmo, who was by my side and guide me through the whole course.

What a school!

Firstly, I applied to study at On The Rise academy to be told it wasn’t possible to teach a deaf. London Sound Academy proved them wrong and more.

Never looked back and often use their studio for practice.

What a f**king cool group of people and a f**king cool school.

Finished the first 3 levels.
The tutors I worked with, were super nice and helpful.
Also I had the chance to practise on the latest gear.
Highly recommended, if you want to polish your skills or you just want to learn the basics.

10000% worth it! Did the Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and Elite Course at LSA and the tutors are amazing! I mainly had Olmo, Noah and Ollie and all 3 of them are so knowledgeable and learned a lot from them! The studio has the best equipment as well. And if you are looking for an active DJ community after you finished the courses LSA is def the one. Had some awesome gigs after graduating and met some great people!

LSA have been a huge help with my journey as a DJ. They will give you all the tools and help you need. LSA is a community full of like minded people. I would recommend this course to anyone who is interested in learning how to DJ or learn music production.

Amazingly well equipped studios, with all the latest editions of equipment, and amazing tutors. Really supportive staff.

I've had a great tutor @LSA, who i've learnt loads from, the studio set up is superb, all the best kit to play and practice with. Loving my time learning with these folks.

I travelled from France to go thru all the DJ courses from Beginner to Elite. The personalised, one-to-one lessons, at your pace, are invaluable.
The first impression is amazing: the atmosphere in the new Camden studios is so welcoming you immediately feel at home.
The tutors are all super friendly, professional and committed to your progress. Special shout-out to Olmo who is a true music passionate genius. He pushed my limits to a level I couldn't even imagine before.
At London Sound Academy, you'll learn with professional state-of-the-art DJ gears that are exactly what you'll find in clubs. It's the only way to start trusting your ears and stop looking at the screens.
The result was tremendous positive feedback at my first gig and on social networks.

I'd also like to mention the LSA Alumni community that is very active and supportive. Being able to get our first gigs once graduated is very appreciated.

Special mention to Buster that is taking customer service to a stellar level. He is very reactive to responding to the inquiries and always gives exceptional care to accommodate.
