Scammers loodgieter-swift
Due to an urgent leak in my toilet system (water was dripping from the concealed cistern into the ceiling of the toilet on the ground floor, near the electrical connection of the ceiling lamp), I contacted them
Two men arrived at my home. After checking the issue, they told me that the toilet hose was defective and said they would go to their store to buy a replacement part. They left, and about 15 minutes later, they returned and **claimed** they had purchased the part — but they never showed it to me.
When they entered, one of them told me he would go check the ceiling of the downstairs toilet. Later, I realized this was likely a distraction so I wouldn't see the other man **reinstalling the same part** instead of replacing it.
In the end, they only dried the area around the downstairs ceiling but **did not inspect or open it** to assess any internal water damage or the **electrical hazard** near the lamp wiring — even though I had told them this was a concern. I expected them to open the ceiling and properly investigate, but they did not.
I was charged **€621.94** for this job , The work done was minimal and the cost was **not what we agreed** upon in advance.
Then I discovered further signs of fraud:
- The **KVK number on the invoice (94536376)** belongs to a different company and is not related to plumbing.
- The **invoice was sent from a fake autogenerated email** address,
- Once I paid, they **blocked me on WhatsApp** and stopped all communication.
I believe this was a **deliberate and coordinated scam**,
