Took ages to get a phone number, which is just left to ring unanswered. When I paid (which was difficult to do without a phone), it was dispatched safely and speedily. Mixed feelings.

Very impressive service!

I left my backpack which contained my laptop, wallet, cash, souvenirs, etc in a bathroom stall at the North Terminal at about 9pm. I registered my lost item online that night immediately upon noticing it was lost. I returned in person the next morning in hopes my physical presence would help me speak to someone directly. It did, and furthermore, I was handed my backpack from the lost baggage counter (free bc it was soon enough) with a kind note inside from the passenger ops manager letting me know that a passenger handed the bag in, and that the bag would be given to the lost property team.

There were 2 things missing: a small whiskey glass souvenir and a small toiletry bag containing Dior lipstick -- such small losses compared to retrieving the rest of my valuables quickly and in tact. I assume these things were removed before being handed to the airport management. I am so grateful to this team and the thoughtful note was extra kind.

An easy five stars from me. Keep up the great work! Thanks so much for your help!!

Absolute scam

Absolute scam! They charge £25 ‘admin fee’ and then tried to charge £24 to deliver a small item between Gatwick airport and London! Understand they need to charge a fee but this is just taking advantage of people.

Lost my laptop at Gatwick Airport

Lost my laptop at Gatwick Airport. Submitted a lost property form and was advised the next day that it had been found. Prompt reply and invoice for the return of my laptop. It was delivered two days later!! Only complaint is, once your item is found you should be able to liaise with the team at Lost Property, you can't, you always receive a generic 'submit a lost property form" we are already past that point!! The system makes you concerned that it is a scam, which it is not, you just have to have faith in the automated system. You are advised once payment is made and delivery form submitted that you will receive confirmation, that did not happen which also reinforces the possibility of a scam. I am very grateful to Lost Property for the safe return of my Laptop.

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL.

Do not pick up. When they do they are useless, had told me they would email me "IN 5 MINUTES" to get my item back and they didn't. ITS BEEN 5 DAYS. Now I'm calling and calling and chasing AND GET NO REPLY OR ANSWER TO YOUR PHONE. I have called 20+ times between 9-5. WHERE IS MY ITEM, YOU HAVE IT AND WE CONFIRMED THIS AND YOU ARE NOT GIVING IT BACK TO ME!!!

Lost a phone in Helsinki

Lost a phone in Helsinki, on the web they asked for a compensation in case they found the lost property. I promised 100 usd, thinking they would have taken only in case of finding my celogi e. Unfortunately I left my credit card number. The same day, they took the money and they didn’t even to bother to do anything. Not even to answer me back when I wrote to them. They are a scam, AVOID THEM

A friend of mine lost his bag on a…

A friend of mine lost his bag on a train and it ended up in Waverley Station in Ediburgh. The lostproperty people there denied they had his bag, the police got involved and from CCTV and locating his laptop viva piing it, we determined his bag was there. They raided his wallet but left the laptop. They denied it was there to the police and to myself and I was on the phone for hours. Liars and cheats they are. In this age of CC TV and airtag they should be more careful as they will be exposed for the thiefs they are.

Pointless. Charge a fortune to reunite

Pointless. They charge a fortune to be reunited with your items no matter how small. My wallet fell out my pocket on a train. The wallet was found in a further destination, nowhere near my home or work.

Had a voicemail from a private number saying they'd found it. Great news. But they said ring back without leaving a number. Tried to find a number to ring on the website, nothing. After some searching on Google I struggled to find it, but eventually did.

I asked if my wallet could be moved by them to a more convenient office location for me...no option for that. Don't understand why that can't be an option in this day and age

They then said it would be £30 to get my item to me! Absolute scandalous, not even worth it for those small items...seems like they are profiting from others misfortune. Would be more than happy for them to use a company like Evri/InPost where it would be less than £10 to get to me. That is all that's needed for those small items.

Absolutely no point !

Absolutely no point in Heathrow having this service . Filled in online details , attempted to claim item online which fitted description . Nothing back in 4 days. Wasted an hour of my life trying to get through on phone. Sent round in circles . Eventually opted for call back option . Left my details …. Nothing!! What a joke Service this is ! Total waste of time

No answer!!

Would really help if you answered your phones! Been trying to get through to offices at both Edinburgh Waverley and London Kings X and neither are picking up, just rings all the way through. I understand that sometimes it’s too busy to answer but this has happened every time I’ve called, no matter the time of day. Very frustrating and distressing when trying to be reunited with lost items.

Shame I have to give them 1 star as they don't deserve that

Shame I have to give them 1 star as they don't deserve that. We flew into Manchester Airport T1 in the early hours of 24 June. In all of the chaos trying to get family and elderly mother into taxi, my partner left his glasses in their case in the luggage trolley. Instead of just 'dumping' it, he took the time to take the trolley back to where the attendant was collecting them. We got in the taxi then realised the glasses had been left. Jumped out of taxi to find trolley's and attendant gone. Took us over 20 mins to find lost property and then find a phone and finally a member of staff to come to us. After nearly 50 mins, they decided they couldn't find the glasses and that we should email the following day which i duly did. They came back to me very very quickly (a little too quick) to say "after an extensive search" (!!!!) they couldn't find anything. The 'worthless to anyone else' glasses I'm sure will be long gone but the £300 Mont Blanc pen (which belonged to my partners Father who died recently) I'm sure has found a new home somewhere.
Strange that they couldn't locate these items after losing them for less than 5 minutes, I wonder if the pen had something to do with that........

Left Luggage in Manchester Airport

I left my phone in Manchester Airport. I spoke to security who had it and were passing it onto Lost Property that evening. Reported online. No response to emails, just the standard after search they have not located. I gave them all details and even the ref from T2 security. I know they have it. It is so frustrating.

We noticed we had left our Nintendo on…

FYI - having been told they didn’t have our Nintendo (despite being told they had). I tweeted M/cr Airport who advised me to tweet Lost Property which I did. Within 2 hrs they asked for all information to be resent and next morning I had an email to say it was there and available to pick up. Seems tweeting had the desired effect

Are They a Real Outfit or just a scam ?

Send them their own 'Form', and within 15 minutes you get a 'sorry not found' email...really, that quick !!!
Was trying to save another trip to the Airport to speak to someone, but now going to have to.

Really disappointed with service

Unfortunately really disappointed with this company's services at the Edinburgh Waverley station. I have lost a piece of luggage on a train which. I've tried to call several times, often to no answer. The few times I have spoken to staff they seem incredibly uninterested. I feel as if they are actively trying to prevent me from finding my luggage. I have tried for several weeks to give the service and its staff a chance but am really disappointed by the service.

Completely incompetent!

They emailed to say they had found my watch at Stansted airport, and for a £25 fee and postage charge I could have it returned.

I have emailed them 4 times since but no one replies. I also tried to call them a dozen times but no one answers the phone!

The watch was a gift from a dear friend 28 years ago so I would love to have it back, but with the appalling service of this company I don’t know how it will be possible.

Company searches in wrong airport and gives up.

Received email from DUBPOS1 saying they couldn’t find it at Dublin (Ireland) !!! ..and they only deal with losses in Dublin. Data field entry and TEXT when filed request clearly indicated DENVER (DEN).
