I had an issue with my order so I left a voicemail with the company.
First thing the next morning a lovely woman called me back. She was so nice and kind. She really went above and beyond to help me and my issue was solved above and beyond my expectations. Thank you so much!

My cats are obsessed.

They absolutely adore this food, we've just moved them over from Catit Nuna insect based food which they also love (we like to give them a little variety!) and they absolutely wolfed down their first two(!) bowls each.

Insect based cat food is such a great way to reduce your personal environmental impact whilst still giving your babies the top quality nutrition they deserve.

The food actually smells rather nice. The cats love it which is the main thing and their litters aren’t as smelly! I’m actually really shocked! I thought my cats would hate this food. I only bought it as one of my cats who is very old has developed a poultry allergy and all shop bought biscuits in the UK say “meat and animal derivatives” and for some reason the fish based food is the same and also had “turkey gravy” which is also unsuitable for her. I had a terrible time these past 4/5 months trying to sort out her allergy and wasn’t getting anywhere until I finally had enough of going to shops and went online and found love big pet food! All 4 of my cats love it! The biscuits are tiny too which is great! I will definitely be buying again.

My cat loves this. As a vegetarian, I'm really pleased to be able to stop giving my money to the meat industry.

Can't believe people will give this food a bad review if their cat doesn't like it! My cat loves it, if he didn't, I'd feed him something else, but I wouldn't blame the food!

The company ethos is admirable. Quick delivery too. However, I bought three bags of the cat biscuits and no matter how I tried, feeding it mixed into usual biscuits, over the course of a week, disguising it amongst other food etc, both my cats were savvy enough to pick out the usual biscuits from the mix, I tried letting them go hungry for a little while and they still would not eat this. I am very disappointed both in my two cats and the cat food. Have to say though, the magpies feast on it. Such a shame.

Sadly I brought 2 bags of this & I’ve got 8 cats that would not touch it & would rather stave.

My boy Winston is a biscuit kind of guy, I gave up buying wet food as he always seemed to eat a bit and then leave it. He took to Lovebug straight away and I barely had to mix it with his old food!

Swift, helpful response from Lovebug website as I wondered how my very fussy (and spoilt) 9year old Birman would respond to this food.
Currently there is only one brand of Cat food pouches which she will eat, which have been increasingly hard for me to obtain.
For several years now she has refused dry food, but from the moment I opened the Lovebug packet, she has shown interest!
We have been following guidance to introduce this new diet gradually (handy, because I have several months of her elusive favourite stockpiled!), she seems to tolerate a mixture of both very well.
In addition, she has regained weight loss from a recent illness and shows a renewed interest in mealtimes. Between meals she appears more contented. All good so far!
Lovebug is a clean and convenient cat-food diet, which is an added bonus.
We look forward to the time when we will be feeding Lovebug exclusively to our pet.
I won't say about reducing our carbon footprint, as you will know all about that, or you wouldn't be thinking about Lovebug.
But if hesitant, I would say give it a go!

Our cat absolutely loves this food! She definitely gobbles it up much more than other foods we have tried and sniffs around the new box of food when it gets delivered! Nice to have a sustainable product delivered to the door as well. I’d definitely recommend trying this out!

Having watched our cat hunt and eat flies and spiders we were pretty convinced that we should give Lovebug a go! It's not as if she would eat much chicken or tuna if she had to hunt for herself in the wild. The parcel arrived and she was sniffing the package before we'd even opened it! Needless to say she is a very happy customer and we've just put in our 2nd bulk order so we don't run out - Thanks Team Lovebug!

Thought I would give this eco-friendly cat food a try as it seemed like an excellent idea for the planet and my cat seems to enjoy it very much. He is not a fussy eater and has a mixture of wet and dry food so will definitely buy again. Every little helps and it’s been a bit of a challenge with cats.

I have two very fussy cats (one is Siamese and the other is an ex-feral), so I was expecting to have to persuade them to get into Lovebug (although my Siamese does love eating flying eats :) ). Also, since they're so different, I wasn't expecting to have success with both, perhaps one or the other. I was pleasantly surprised when both my furbabies scoffed the food immediately and without hesitation! What a win! I'm very happy with this product and it's delivery and I thought the informative card was a nice touch.

My 2 fussy cats love this! I was skeptical at first but and wondered if they would eat it but they can't get enough of it now !

With the planet in crisis, we all need to step up a bit and that includes our spoiled kitties. I didn't know that farming bugs take up 80% less land than beef so decided to give Lovebug a try.

My cats are fussy so-and-so's and very good at giving me a 'pained' look when the food isn't to their liking. But after a suspicious sniff, they both dug in and now I feed them Lovebug exclusively along with the odd can of tuna. Obviously, my cats couldn't give a stuff about the environment but I'm really pleased with the food, the service and the fact the packaging is planet-friendly.

Food arrived very promptly and packed in a sturdy paper type bag so no plastic waste which I liked. I don't think our cat, kip was too bothered though.
I took the advice to gradually supplement his current dry food with lovebug and he seems as happy to eat it as anything we've given him before. And happier than with some of the cheaper dry food we've tried. It looks just the same and doesn't look like bugs as I feared it might.
I would recommend this product and am about to order more. Happy cat, happy owner!

I tried this company as I have a rescue kitten that really is fussy about food, really fussy! She likes only felix goody bag and milk and shuns practically everything else. I gave lovebug a try and she took to it straight away and even though it's only been a short time I can notice a positive difference in her. Excellent product! As for service again excellent very prompt and well packaged. My thanks to them I have a happier kitty.

The service was good but my cats will not eat this at all so a complete waste

Waste of money, rejected by my cat and my daughters too
