I recently had a dental cleaning with Si Ning Liu, and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. Before my appointment, I had discussed my concerns about the early stages of periodontal disease with the dentist and was feeling quite anxious about the cleaning.

During the appointment, I felt that my concerns weren’t acknowledged, and the cleaning itself was much rougher than I expected. There was a lot of scraping and pressure on my gums, and I left feeling sore and uncomfortable. By the time I got home, I was extremely nauseated and had been swallowing quite a bit of blood during the procedure, which made me vomit.

When I brought up my concerns afterward, I felt as though they were dismissed and that I being gaslight to bbelieve that dental cleanings are supposed to be uncomfortable. I understand that some discomfort is normal, but in my experience this went far beyond ordinary discomfort. I left feeling that my concerns and the amount of pain I experienced were not taken seriously.

I’m genuinely baffled that a new patient, could be treated with such a rough approach.
