DO NOT USE LUNCHBOX!!!

This company is a disaster. Getting online ordering setup was extremely time consuming and unnecessarily complicated. Nothing worked out the gate so we spent months constantly triaging issues with that Lunchbox couldn't understand. It created chaos in our store and cost us a significant amount of business.

The sales people assured us that everything we asked about was live but it turned out a lot of it was actually still in the development. 18 months later, all of those things are still "on the backlog" with no delivery timeline. These are very basic functionalities like saving favorite orders including modifications.

Everyone we dealt with was inept. The original team were all fired and replaced with a new team that was at least responsive. That team has since quit or been fired.

We are now trying to leave so that we can have an online ordering platform that works and the company is threatening to charge us $6k to leave early.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Nathalie, and we can confidently say she is an exceptional professional. From our very first interaction, she impressed us with her helpfulness and attentiveness.

Nathalie is always ready to lend a hand and answer any questions we had, making us feel valued and supported. Her friendly demeanor and genuine interest in our success made the entire experience enjoyable. It’s clear that she is dedicated to her work and truly cares about the people she supports.

We are grateful for her assistance and highly recommend Nathalie to anyone fortunate enough to work with her. She’s an absolute gem!

The Lunchbox team was a great advocate for us during our 2.0 onboarding.

We had some technical issues when first onboarding to Lunchbox 2.0 but our rep, Kate, and the upper management team at Lunchbox all worked with us to get to the bottom of those issues and resolve them and continued to check in to make sure that everything was working properly. Kate was our direct point of contact and she kept us up-to-date on the progress of tickets we put in and was a great advocate for us. Since those initial issues have been resolved, our experience has improved and we are happy with the switch over to 2.0.

The best in the industry

When looking for the best provider for online ordering, loyalty, and gift cards for our company we interviewed and demoed countless options and ultimately landed on Lunchbox. The product is great, but even better are the people behind the curtain who make all of the magic happen. Rarely can you find a team that is as dedicated to your success as the folks at Lunchbox are. Particularly, Mark has been absolutely critical to much of our success as a brand going through our digital transformation. At times it almost feels like he is a team member at our company, proving his commitment to ensuring that we are fully educated and supported in launches, new roll outs, etc. Because of Mark and other great team members, I’ve referred Lunchbox to many other restaurant brands and will continue to do so.

Gift card integration issue

The reason that Lunchbox is getting 5 stars for this issue resolution rests solely on the shoulders of Mark Turner, Director of Special Projects. We've been unimpressed by Lunchbox's customer service and issue resolution in the past, but Mark worked tirelessly for a week to help us fix the problems we were having with integration of giftcards into our system, coordinating with Toast as well as our former card printer and providers to make sure everything was fixed. Mark was in touch with our team, followed up with others when their service lagged, and kept communicating about consistent progress.

I had a positive experience with Lunchbox. Their platform has significantly streamlined our operations, and I must highlight the exceptional support provided by Mark Robert Turner. Mark’s dedication and expertise were evident throughout our collaboration. His prompt responses and thorough assistance ensured that our setup was seamless and efficient. I appreciated him picking up my calls at 6PM PST even thought I believe he's 3 hours ahead. so it's like 9PM for him.

If you’re considering Lunchbox for your business needs, rest assured that you’ll be in great hands with Mark.

Turner takes care of business

Every interaction over the past year with Mark Turner has been absolutely helpful, learning/understanding based for all parties, and solution oriented. He always gets to the bottom of the issue/s at hand, leaning on all resources necessary, which as a restaurant partner is what we need/expect, means lost revenue is low or minimal, allowing us to service our hungry guests. He takes the little extra time required to make sure the resolution is satisfactory and our platforms are fully functioning.
Case in point from yesterday, he had 3 different conference calls with myself, our onboarding team and third party vendors to get integrations working at our 8th location and loyalty configured correctly brand-wide.
He also shared valuable information about menu tags and why they are important for sales growth in the digital age.
Mark’s knowledge of lunchbox and its inner workings has been an invaluable resource for us during our challenging rollout. You need many more Marks! He’s a class act.
