Not the first purchase from Lusso and it certainly won’t be the last; excellent products that are reasonably priced and hand made in the UK. The online shopping experience is faultless and I love the new packaging.

I bought a lusso acqua repel jacket 2 years ago. At the time I was also looking at a castelli gabba which was roughly the same price. I bought the lesson because it was stated to have a higher waterproof rating. This was a mistake. Seams are not taped. The fabric is not waterproof. As I subsequently discovered, it is no comparison with a gabba. On a positive note, fit is good and its well made. But its not worth 160 quid. I posted a balanced and truthful review on the lusso website. They removed it and only retained the 5 star reviews. I am never buying anything from them again for this reason.

I have subsequently seen Lusso's response below. A couple of comments: I bought a castelli gabba and the seams are taped - i should add that i bought a gabba because i was disappointed with the performance of the Lusso. The gabba is a thinner garment, but way more waterproof. In the case of the lusso garment I went for a 1 hour ride in sustained drizzle (not rain) shortly after buying it (ie not 2 years later), and the water made its way through. That was very disappointing. In similar weather a gabba was way better. Lusso have also not responded to my comment about removing unfavourable reviews. That, more than the performance of the garment, was the shocker for me.

In summary, for me the jacket fits well and has a long back. It's extremely comfortable. But don't buy this thinking it's any more water resistant than a decent fleece, it's not.

Bought Lusso for many years. Quality cycle clothing at great prices. Another advantage is you can collect direct from the factory so you can be sure of correct sizing. Great service, a pleasure to shop there.

I bought 5 items in September (Perform Carbon bib shorts x2, lightweight aero jersey X2, aqua challenge gilet and max repel arm warmers.
Have now had the chance to use them a fair bit since purchase.
First thing is customer service is excellent they left a pair of the shorts out of the orde, and there were no quibbles getting a replacement pair sent very quickly.
Gilet is warm, windproof and fit is great, pockets very accessible.
Jerseys are great, second skin like and great is 30 degrees very cool.
Arm warmers are very comfy and don't slip.
The bib shorts were really comfy (pad) on 80km plus rides in October in France for 2 weeks day after day. However the thigh bands were tight and they've offered to try a reduced cost larger size, which I hope to take them up on in the Spring.
They seem to care about customers.

Been buying Lusso kit since 2014 and it just keeps getting better. Nothing seems to be an issue and they also take note of feedback on what could be improved.
Current purchase is the roll neck base layer. Just about to order another.

Really reasonable price and high quality, fast delivery.

Quick, easy and great British products at brilliant prices. Never had a bad item yet and all my clothing room Lusso has exceeded my expectations by a country mile. No exaggeration but their products have kept me going in very cold conditions. Brilliant stuff and their customer services are excellent too. What more can I say?!
