Disgusting behaviour from all council…

Disgusting behaviour from all council workers especially children’s services they are corrupt and do nothing but lie and commit crimes on people in the community watch out been gang stalked by Luton borough council and it’s community since 2018 lying about people and their families and trying set other services on them with no good reason luton borough council you have been caught out and I hope someone exposes you they need under cover investigation

It’s absolutely ridiculous customer service it’s all about trying to rip all the population especially Luton Council people are struggling to leave these days. They are passing details people to majesty courts even the courts they’ll make decision on behalf of scammer.

Online form not completed ..discourages…

Online form not completed ..discourages people from applying. I have not claimed a discount for over 20 years. I have children/adults in the house, but due to their long chain of bureaucratic and irrelevant questions, I suspect if a full-time person could never complete the form, kept saving the form and now cannot remember the references to open and complete it again. I have adult mentally incapable person, kids in full-time education and a primary school child, and my spouse had a major heart attack and is under treatment, and I am a full-time worker (9am-5pm, commuting 5 days a week, adding 2 hrs travel). I cannot understand .. How does the council develop such nightmare forms, going step by step and not ending in 40 minutes, wasting valuable time? Please be helpful to working parents who pay you tax.

Continuous bad service

Would give 0 stars if could! Absolute appalling service or rather lack of it!!! Constant excuses forever of being understaffed! Yet you tell us we have to now collect food waste as well as general, recycling & glass! Collections on normal bins are late every week & two weeks in yes you’ve guessed it food waste not collected either! Stop making excuses Luton Borough Council and get it sorted!
Footnote to add funny how being shortstaffed you can still do overtime at weekends to clear it all

Blood in the lobby

Blood in the lobby, urine in the lifts, dog poop in the lobby, an arsonist previously living in the building but the housing officer is more concerned about a domesticated, registered pigeon for "hygiene and health" reasons. Deal with the people urinating in the lifts first.

This beautiful heated young woman just made a massive impact on my day by taking the time to speak with me regarding a personal issue I’ve been struggling with. Who put the arsonist in a high rise…

Who put the arsonist in a high rise block of flats?[green court] Housing managers at Luton Borough council did. Housing managers are directly responsible for the death of tenant, the serious life changing injuries to police officer sent to deal with situation and the negligence towards other residents at Green Court. When's the court case? When's the coroner's inquest?
One big cover up.

Children's Services are terrible

Children's Services are terrible, allowed a student social Work to essentially harass a domestic abuse survivor parent with multiple calls a day, multiple within minutes some days because the mum requested they communicate through her domestic abuse advocate, which Children’s Services ignored multiple times. Issued a "voluntary" CIN s17, then escalated to an ICPC with no incidents because the mum still requested they communicate with her advocate. Terrible message to send to survivors that they are essentially not allowed to have boundaries.

Badly run

Luton Council come across as very incompetent. Dealing with them is a miserable affair. After sending me a bill for council tax I don't owe 2 months after leaving Luton (and notifying them of the fact through correct channels), getting in touch with them is a nightmare. It takes me an hour before I finally get through to a genuinely nice person on the other end who confirms Luton is in error. This council needs an overhaul in terms of management.

no response to communication

I emailed selective licensing and land discharge departments but getting no response so tried to follow-up with phone call. It was a nightmare and a waste of time as it proved impossible to get through to either department. I called the switchboard 7 times and finally gave up in despair. I have submitted feedback of my experience to the council in the hope that they will be willing to improve their services.

Very very bad customer service

Very very bad customer service! This council is atrocious! Left holding on the phone waiting for well over an hour four times on the trot now and all because of your imcompetence in the first place at amending a council tax bill correctly!! Finally got through after numerous and very long waits only to be dealt with by a very rude customer service agent who couldn’t give a damn! Customet service or the extreme lack of it seems to be an issue at this council and seriously needs to be sorted pronto

Avoid if you can. Do not move in to luton. There's better towns and councils. This town is sinking.

Full of uncompassionate, rude and not so bright "people" who thinks they are doing such a great job 😄.
Bunch of liars who miss managing public money. They support hoards of druggies and alcos but not normal people. There's no support from them and they're always rude, aggressive and always just want MORE money..
Souless, cardboard made government puppets.

Who on earth in the council agreed to…

Who on earth in the council agreed to all and sundry doing road works in Luton at the same time? My 15 minute journey has just taken me 55 minutes, bloody gridlock everywhere. Yesterday it took me 40 minutes to get onto the M1 from Stopsley. Thanks for that time from my life which I can't get back.

If I could choose no stars then I would of. Who decided to do all the roadworks at once in Luton?
Are you really that stupid or just do not care?? Roadworks from 10 to 13 on the M1 now causes my my return home from work up to 1 hour for a 20minute journey. Now you have closed off 1 lane leading to the M1 again!!!!!! Again up to an hour for a 10 minute journey to the M1 from my home. So you are happy to waste my time and my money for petrol without any pre warning and advise on how long, especially as you had closed off the same lane 3 weeks ago for barrier repairs, so what are you doing now??
We have no money you state!!!! so WHY all the roadworks, in town roads are closed off to major routes roads closed off. WHY, I tried to do a contact you on Luton brough councils website but surprise surprise there is no link to complain about roadworks. YOU ARE WASTING MY LIFE AND MY MONEY IS THAT ACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOUR for someone whom I pay your salary and you are supposed to be accountable to the people, unfortunately you re not.

A £1 million not spent on the people of Luton

Luton Borough Council have spent over £1 million on the education of a foreign child at one of the most expensive private schools in England. This money could have been spent on meeting the needs of those actually living in Luton. Times are very difficult for everyone and money needs to be spent on providing the very basics for so many and not on the luxury of private education.
