They use fake AI Generated before after photos to lure you to send deposit. Once they get your money' they ghost you!
I paid Luxora over $2,000 toward surgery and cancelled a few days after. before travelling or receiving any surgery or medical treatment. They are refusing to return my money, citing their “no refunds” policy.
My issue is NOT that I simply changed my mind. After paying, I discovered serious red flags involving the surgical results and information being presented to prospective patients.
I asked my coordinator, Lena, for additional photos of a particular patient and was told there were none on file. Hours later, numerous additional photos of that same patient suddenly appeared. Those images raised serious concerns, and an AI-detection tool identified them as AI-generated.
I was also communicating with three other prospective patients considering Luxora, and we compared information we were being given. In one particularly concerning instance, photos of a patient were presented as results of a specific procedure. I was personally in contact with the woman in those photos, and she told me that was NOT the procedure she had undergone.
These representations played a significant role in my decision to book. In my opinion, potentially fabricated or misrepresented surgical results being used to obtain deposits raises extremely serious concerns about misrepresentation and possible fraud. A “no refunds” clause does not erase those concerns. I was lied to and mislead.
Luxora later told me in writing that they would refund me if I cancelled my dispute and agreed not to file another one. They also wanted me to sign an agreement/NDA, huge RED FLAG! yet despite repeatedly asking Lena to send me the paperwork so I could review it, she never did.
Now Luxora is ignoring my messages entirely. I received no surgery or medical treatment, they still have over $2,000 of my money, and they are no longer meaningfully communicating with me.
This entire experience has left me with serious concerns about Luxora's honesty, transparency and professionalism.
Please independently verify the photos, procedures and information you're shown before sending this clinic any money. I wish I had done so before sending mine.
I have given them over a month to resolve this without having to do this, but their professionalism and neglect has left me no choice but to warn others.
In regards to your response. The deposit it canadian Dollars was exactly
$ 2069.43. The lower amount you are posting to make yourself look better is in Euros. So converted for me it cost $2069.43. Canadian. Dont play these games. You know exactly what you did. You stole money from a single mom, who wanted to make herself feel better and you stole that from her by stealing her hard earned money. People need to know what kind of business you are running. I also have documents to prove everything and have no problems posting and sharing with anyone that wants to see the truth. You guys are liars. You used fraudulent befor/after photos, to get a deposit, and you know it. Once I called you out! You immediately wanted a NDA to cover your ass. Sorry im calling this company out for the frauds you are! Give a hard working mom her $2069.43 . If you were honest people, you would give me back my money . Especially since I didn't even fly out of Canada. not one appointment or accommodation was scheduled. And I cancelled a few days after sending Deposit so no accommodation or paperwork was even started. you claim opening my file cost over $2000. Your saying I owe you over $2000 for opening my file? Are you kidding me? You guys are scamming people there are 2 other people I am currently in contact with that you did the same thing to that are ready to out this company too. Im not the only one! You reserved our coordination services, and our non-refundable deposit policy and terms were clearly communicated and acknowledged by you at the time of booking. You chose to cancel your procedure of your own accord for personal reasons, influenced by external opinions and premature judgments, well before any breach on our part.
The Bank Dispute: Following your cancellation, you initiated a formal chargeback dispute through your financial institution (BANK OF NOVA SCOTIA) to attempt a forced refund. After a full review of all evidence, communications, and terms by independent banking professionals, your own bank officially ruled in favor of the merchant and permanently closed the case in our favor.
Total Transparency: We have nothing to hide. If anyone wishes to verify the facts, we are fully prepared to publicly publish all official documentation, communications, and the formal banking decision proving that your own bank rejected your dispute.
