I had an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience with Madverse, and I feel compelled to warn others before they invest their time and effort here.

I subscribed to their music distribution service and spent nearly 9–10 months working on my releases, putting in consistent effort to grow my music. Everything seemed fine initially, but without any prior notice or explanation, my account was suddenly closed and permanently banned.

What’s worse is that along with the account, all my hard work, my music, and my earnings were wiped out. There was no warning, no clarification, and absolutely no transparency about what went wrong.

I tried reaching out to their customer support multiple times, but there was no response at all. It feels like once they take your money, they completely stop caring about their users. The lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable, especially for a platform that creators trust with their content and revenue.

This experience has not only caused financial loss but also emotional stress after months of dedication. A company handling artists’ work should act responsibly and ethically, but unfortunately, that has not been the case here.

I would strongly advise other artists to think twice before using Madverse. Based on my experience, this platform is unreliable and does not provide the support or security that creators deserve.

Honestly, Madverse has been a rough ride.

I get that platforms can be a bit rigid with workflows. But support is where this completely falls apart. It genuinely feels like there’s only one person handling tickets, and the replies read like generic AI copy-pastes. Worse, they land after 4 to 6 days, when you’re already stuck and losing momentum.

I took the subscription in November 2025, and it’s now the end of February 2026. I still haven’t been able to release my song. I’m hoping I get lucky on the 28th Feb, but at this point it shouldn’t come down to luck.

A close friend of mine also picked up a subscription around the same time. He’s a serious artist and he eventually jumped ship to another distributor and had a great experience with POC for assistance. I’m not naming them because I don’t want this to look like a marketing pitch. I’m just being straight: the difference in experience was massive.

I’m sticking with Madverse only because I’m a small-time independent artist and I can’t keep buying subscriptions like money grows on trees. But based on the last few months, I can’t recommend this to anyone.

you register a ticket--->they do not answer for 20 days---> they close it without resolving anything----> you register again-----> they simply ignore you for 15 days and close the ticket again!!
calling them pathetic, is a complement.

Some quarries after music distribution

I have some quarries after music distribution. The quarries was related to Spotify verification badge (Blue Tick) and The problem has been resolved. One more quarries I had to shift all my contents from auto generated Topic channel to my official youtube channel (They are working on this). Thanks madverse.

Finally, a platform that actually understands indie artists

Been using madverse for about 6 months now and honestly it’s been pretty solid. The distribution is smooth, got my tracks on spotify and apple music without any issues. What I really appreciate is the transparent royalty split - no hidden cuts like some other platforms. Support team is also responsive, replied to my query in less than 24 hours. Overall highly recommend for upcoming artists

Terrible experience

I had a terrible experience with Madverse.

I paid for a subscription and uploaded my release, expecting the service to function as advertised. Only after almost an entire month of silence from support, during which all release deadlines were effectively missed, I was suddenly asked to complete KYC verification.

The KYC request itself was alarming: I was asked to send a photo of my passport directly via support chat, with no secure verification portal, no official upload form, and no information about a third-party KYC provider or data protection measures.

Because of the sensitive nature of passport data, I reasonably refused to send my documents through an unsecured chat and requested a proper, secure verification process.

As a result:
• My release was delayed and deadlines were missed
• KYC was requested only after payment and long inactivity
• Passport data was requested via an unsafe channel
• No transparency about data processing or GDPR compliance was provided
• A refund was refused, despite the service being unusable under these conditions

From a customer perspective, this feels highly unprofessional and unsafe. Introducing KYC requirements after payment and after a month of delays, and then refusing a refund when a user declines an insecure verification method, raises serious trust concerns.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this service and strongly advise others to be extremely cautious before subscribing.

They are on to something great. From the point of starting to achieving greatness, there's a lot of back and forth and Hard/re work.

I say give the Madverse team their due props, they need and time to take the scale of music distribution in India to a greater height.

Madverse “A Platform of Promises, and a System of Silence”

Madverse presents itself as a feature-rich distribution platform, yet in practice it operates through confusion rather than clarity. After subscribing to their Star plan and submitting a single for manual review, I waited nearly a week with no status change, while the UI showed contradictory messages about whether my release was live or still under review. Multiple support tickets went unanswered, and only automated replies appeared, giving the impression of a system that records complaints but does not resolve them. I eventually withdrew my release and returned to my previous distributor and requested a refund, as no meaningful service had been delivered. Artists should be cautious: a platform that cannot communicate cannot be trusted with creative work.

its a scam

i used it once, its a scam, they just charge you money oncw under the illusion and then no contact, prefer going through renowned distributors only, such scams in audio distribution are pretty common.
