So slow… be prepared to wait for your whisky.
If you wanted to buy a special item for someone’s 40th birthday from malts.com, I would suggest ordering it around their 39th birthday and it *may* just turn up in time.
It took from the 25th November until the 6th December for the item to be made ready and then until the 11th for Royal Mail to have the item. I understand Royal Mail have their own issues but it still took 16 days to dispatch an item.
I’m now on day 19 since ordering and still don’t have the product, with the current Royal Mail strikes i honestly don’t think my item will arrive for Christmas, despite ordering it a month in advance.
I genuinely think that whisky may mature quicker than malts.com can process items for delivery.

Advent calendar delay by 13 days!
Ordered a whiskey advent calendar on 21st November, received it 13th December. Waiting for a refund, they did nothing to resolve the issue but blame Royal Mail. I’ve had other deliveries from Royal Mail since the purchase date.

Terrible Service
I placed my order on 25/11/22 and received an email from Malts to say my item has been ‘despatched’ on 06/12/22. I was issued with a Royal Mail tracking number, but Royal Mail have still not received my parcel. I’ve had several other deliveries from other companies using Royal Mail where I have received my item within a few days of despatch, even during the strikes.
Terrible service. Would never use again.
Update on 20/12/2022: I have still not received my parcel. I have had a dreadful experience emailing back and forth with their ‘customer service’ team. I was initially told by them that if my parcel hadn’t arrived by 17/12/22 I could contact them for a refund. I phoned Royal Mail who confirmed this and advised me to request a refund from Malts. I emailed Malts again to request my refund to be told that I’d have to wait 14 days from the date of despatch before I could request a refund. I waited the 14 days and sent another email requesting my refund and received a snooty reply from Malts saying that I’d have to wait 16 days before I could request this.
I have received every other parcel I’ve ordered from companies using Royal Mail as their courier, and all these orders were placed after I had placed my order with Malts.

Avoid, hopeless customer service
Ordered several bottles and not even dispatched within 3 weeks. No communication as to what was going on and ultimately got a refund after a few emails and phone calls. Honestly there’s far better ways of ordering whisky out there, including going to the distillery. I will not be using in future.

Ordered the 25th nov, with confirmation email detailing 7 - 9 days. Understandable due to the personalisation.
Update received the 6th Nov. It was being prepared for despatch, 11 days after paid. Royal Mail didn’t receive the item for a further 2 days.
Email correspondence regarding the matter has been laughable, they’ve tried to blame Royal Mail, and I like others have received goods from all over the uk without being negatively affected by the UPCOMING strike action

Terrific Delivery Times
Ordered 27th November and items still not received by Royal Mail. Never had an item take this long and still not be out for delivery. Just received an item from California that came quicker! Ended up buying this elsewhere (cheaper too) and it was delivered within 48h. Now have to refuse deliveries when this eventually turns up

Absolutely disgusting service, i ordered an expensive whisky from them which wasn’t sent out for 2 weeks but was told it was due to strike at Royal Mail!!!!
Spoke to Royal Mail today (9th Dec) and this wasn’t the case at all and they had just received the order this morning!
After serval emails with little response other than it had been sent and be patient.
So ordered on the 23rd November, was told it was sent out on the 28th. Royal Mail only received on the 9th December!!!!
Absolutely shocking!
Judging by the recent reviews Malts.com or should I say malts.con! Have some serious service issues!
Buy elsewhere I know I will!

Ich bestelle hier nie wieder etwas. Ich warte jetzt seit 3 Wochen auf eine Flasche Whisky. Zuerst wurde der Whisky an die falsche Adresse versendet. Obwohl ich bei der Bestellung meine korrekte Adresse angegeben habe. Ich muss das Paket in einen Paketshop umleiten. Dort kam es leider nie an. Es wurde nach 2 Wochen an den Absender zurück geschickt weil es nicht die Versandbedingungen von DHL erfüllt. Es kam während der gesamten Zeit 0 Support seitens Malts.vom nur völlig aus dem Zusammenhang gerissene Emails als ob man mit einem Bot kommuniziert. Keine Hilfe mit DHL nichts. Jetzt schreibe ich seit Montag Emails hinterher aber es kommt leider wenig bis gar keine Reaktion und der Whisky ist immer noch nicht unterwegs. Leider ist meine Widerrufsfrist abgelaufen sonst hätte ich schon längst mein Geld zurück verlangt. Nie wieder bestelle ich dort etwas.

Poor service
As a fairly regular customer I have to say their standards have dropped rapidly.
I placed and paid for goods 24th November. I have received only one email giving an order number.
I have in the last few days phoned a number of times, to be told no one available to answer the call leave a message with name and telephone number.
I have also sent an Email. Other than saying they have got the email no other contact.
Very poor service

Ich habe eine Flasche Lagavulin…
Ich habe eine Flasche Lagavulin bestellt, der Preis war sehr fair, sogar eine kleine 5cl Flasche Black Label war gratis dabei.
Der Versand hat zwar ein paar Tage gedauert, aber die Flasche ist heute gut angekommen.
Ich werde sicher wieder hier einkaufen und kann malts.com mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.

Leider ist einer der zwei am 21.10.2022 gekauften Artikel nicht sofort lieferbar. - so what - kann passieren. Aber diese Nachricht bekam ich erst auf Nachfrage meinerseits Ende Oktober / Anfang November .Da wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass ca. ab Mitte November die Waren vom Hersteller geliefert werden und dann an den Kunden ausgeliefert werden können. Ob ich solange warten wolle. Dieses wurde von mir bejaht, denn den Johnnie Walker Adventskalender kann ich auch erst kurz vom dem 1. Dezember erhalten. So dachte ich mir.... Seitdem warte ich und werde täglich nervöser, ob mich der Kalender noch vor dem 1. Dezember erreichen wird. Leider werden meine Mailanfragen nicht mehr beantwortet. Es ist eine Frechheit, dass malts.com solange mit dem Geld der Kunden arbeitet. Aber sicherlich wird dann ja auch etwas als Entschädigung für das lange und vor allem geduldige Warten mit ins Paket gepackt. Das macht man dann doch, um die Kunden zu binden und als kleines Trostpflaster.
Ich werde berichten, wie es ausgegangen ist. Momentan war dieses - Stand jetzt - meine letzte Bestellung bei malts.com.
Nachtrag am 03.12.2022
Ich sollte am Dienstag eine e-Mail an maltsdesupport(at)blacksqure.zendesk.com mit allen Informationen rund um meine Bestellung senden. Lt. Malta.com soll man innerhalb von 2-3 Tagen eine Rückmeldung erhalten. NICHTS IST PASSIERT. ICH BEKOMME KEINE RÜCKMELDUNG.
Dieses ist ein FRECHHEIT. Service ist unterirdisch, es ist ja nur der Kunde, der ist halt lästig und fragt immer nach, wann er aus seinem Vertrag seine Ware erhält.
Und in meinen Augen sind es Standardfloskeln, ja vermutlich sogar automatisierte Antworten, der rausgehen, sobald man bei TrustPilot nur einen Stern gibt.
Maltas.com ist ein Saftladen. Leider nicht im doppelten Sinne gemeint.
Ich kann dieses Laden nicht weiterempfehlen.

es ist einfach unfassbar - trotz E-Mail mit allen Details zur Bestellung, erhalte ich keine Rückmeldung auf diese Post hier. Es kümmert malts.com einen feuchten Furz, was hier geschrieben wird. Diese Standard-ALIBI-Antworten sind einfach nur lächerlich. Nach einer freundlichen Nachfrage, ob ich nun meinen Adventskalender (ja, den für 2022!) und mein Talisker-Bundle erhalte, bekam ich eine Mail mit der Aussage, dass man meinen Frust verstehen kann und bittet mich um etwas Geduld, damit man nachforschen kann.
Keine Ahnung wo geforscht wird.
Mein Tipp: FINGER WEG VON DIESESM SAFTLADEN und lieber woanders kaufen. Vielleicht wird es irgendwann einmal besser, wenn malts.com kompetentes Personal hat.
Ich entschuldige mich bei den Lesern für meine teilweise unflätigen Bemerkungen , aber ich bin echt angepisst.
MALTS.COM ist einfach nur unterirdisch.
Wenn ich jetzt getrunken hätte, würde ich noch unflätiger sein, so aber gebietet es sich nur ein wenig zu pöbeln.

Am 16.11 bestellt bis 28.11 noch immer nicht erhalten. Aber der Support hat sich wenigstens bemüht und rasch geantwortet und entschuldigt. Deswegen von einem auf 3 Sterne korrigiert.

Reklamation, unterirdische Bearbeitung!
Ich hatte eine beschädigte Lieferung, es hat fast 4 Wochen, bis zur Rückerstattung, gedauert.
Die Kommunikation war absolut mühselig, Antworten waren immer aus dem Zusammenhang gerissen und die Beweisfotos musste ich ganze 4x übermitteln. Einen schlechteren Kundensupport habe ich nirgends anders erlebt. Sehr schlecht. Ansonsten war der Versand der Ware, nach Bestellung, zügig.
