We needed an EPC at short notice for a newly refurbished property and asked Manchester EPC if they could attend the next day, which was a Saturday. Muhammad said no problem, they do work on Saturdays and he promised I will have my new EPC certificate sent to me by Monday. A smooth, bother-free transaction and they kept their promises. Can recommend.

After we made the first booking, I just realised that the appointment need to be amended. The gentleman is kind and friendly to cope with our change. He came on time and took all necessary photos and information in a short time. We got a reasonable EPC rating based on his evaluation. Definitely recommended to everyone who needs EPC rating certification.

Efficient and reasonably priced

I had an EPC carried out on Wednesday the 19th November 2025 and I promptly paid the invoice in full. It’s been four full working days and I have still not had my energy performance certificate sent to me. I have emailed and called as well as text and no reply back. I would appreciate some response but to date I have had none. If I don’t get what I paid for in good faith I will have to take the matter further and ask for a refund.

I originally left a 1-star review because, after my EPC inspection on 19 November 2025, I paid the invoice immediately but received no certificate and had no response to calls, texts, or emails for several days.

Update:
After posting my review and following up again, Manchester EPC contacted us and resolved the issue. They explained there had been a system glitch and the certificate has now been properly issued and lodged on the government register.

While the initial lack of communication was disappointing, I appreciate that the matter was eventually sorted out. I’ve now updated my rating to reflect that the issue has been resolved.
